AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
After Greenwood's out of nowhere votes last year (anti-gola) Gold Coast would be my major concern.Glad you see somewhat eye to eye with me!
which ones do you disagree with?
the danger with the Sportsbet odds in allocating the best, 2nd best , 3rd best format, is they like to give the contenders , equal 2nd, equal 3rd, or push them higher than usual.
For instance I requested Petracca who was unquoted in one of their matches, and he got pushed into the 3rd line of betting for one of the games.
It was Round 11. Petracca was quoted at $26 for best on ground after no initial price was listed. He probably won't get it but thought if Harmes was listed at $9, Tracc should have been at least given a mention as well.fair enough, do you remember what round that was?
If I had to guess it might be round 1. Trac no coaches votes either but 3rd in SB odds
$26 for Petracca is a tad overs for me in that game anyway in Rd 11. He had most contested possession that night. Watching it first time I found his game quite 'eye catching'. (maybe it was just me)
I've seen worser bets to poll 3 votes in a game. But having said that Oliver deserves to start favourite to poll 3 here. But im not touching that at the price of $1.50.
Interesting, I really don't think he deserves even 1 vote from this game, but at the same time I CAN see a world where he polls 3 too??It was Round 11. I was watching the Carlton vs Freo game yesterday.
Mail from where?Mail that jacqui felgates dress is green - only $1.85 on SB but free cash
Mail from where?
Cheers yeah like him or Hogan. Also think Rankine could be a shout.Darcy Byrne-Jones
7 votes in 102 H&A games - so not a standout umpire favourite.
Round 16 - Port comfortable win over Hawthorn.
Hawks - leading possession winners were Mitchell 29 disposals, Worpel 23 - not enough. Breust had 2 goals, to go with 8 disposals.
So expect the 3 2 1 to go to Port.
3 to Wines for 43 disposals.
2 to Amon for 26 disposals (17 kicks - 2nd most to Wines), 8 inside 50s (equal most with Wines), most meters gained,
Contenders for the 1
Dixon - 4 goals, 2 in the last when the game was over, no votes.
Boak - 27 disposals
DBJ however to me controlled the back half, racked up the ball and also had 8 intercepts (equal 3rd behind Frost/Hartigan, equal with Aliir).
Hey guys I need someone to poll exactly 1 vote for the full count. Any ideas?
Love this one! Believe TJM gave him the 1 in this game alsoEddie Betts kicked 5 against the Dogs in Round 8 in a kinda close loss. Probably gets the 1 and likely no chance of getting votes for the rest of the year.
He may poll in Round 5 against CarltonDarcy Byrne-Jones

I was watching the Carlton vs Freo game yesterday.
Many major sites had him with 3 votes this game, which definitely was to my surprise.
Watching the game closely, Walsh and Carlton as a team got absolutely DESTROYED in the midfield. Carlton lost clearances 26 - 45 (almost got doubled.. huge loss).
Walsh had the least number of clearances out of every midfielder from both teams.
64% disposal efficiency, and visually while a lot of his handballs around the ground were solid and some indirectly set up plays, I didn't think it was nearly the quality you'd need to overlook the lack of quantity in his contribution.
His final quarter goal was flashy, but it more so secured the victory rather than being the match winning goal.
If Carlton had lost I would've given Walsh 0 votes this game. But they did win, and all Carlton midfielders sucked, so I ended up giving him a 2 in this game, but I think him only getting the 1 vote is definitely possible.
Ultimately I think umpires do tend to like inside mids more. Walsh is less inside than some of the other midfielders, but umpires absolutely love him as a young gun carrying a struggling midfield and I think will try to give him cheap votes from time to time. With those factors balancing out, I think Walsh should poll his 26 - 28 votes with both limited upside and limited downside.
Search Brownlow Novelties in Sportsbet.guessing all the value is gone but my mate wanted to see it for a laugh, can someone link me the brownlow bingo.... cant find it on sportsbet
