Lol seriously can we just have a ban on posting things ol clickbait Kornes says…

none of it is interesting and it’s all designed to just stir people up.

Hodgey wants a new rule! Hodgey gets a new rule.

No more clickbait shit from Cornes in here.

Also:
Can we also threadban Rendell quotes. The bloke is senile.
Done ✔️

So in terms of line up 22

Reeves for Ceglar

Lynch Sicily and Gunston for TOB, depending where he played.

Clearly TOB will get more games at the doggies than here, crazy as that sounds

Apparently the deal has fallen over because GWS haven't been able to secure a replacement small forward to cover Hill. They were prepared to accept Essendon's trade offer.
Not according to McCartney.....said they never entertained a deal.....yeah they needed a small, but the other hurdle was getting value on Hill.....but i see the point

I meant to post this this morning, but, if any of you nuts lose your absolute shit tonight because…

1. We didn’t trade the player you wanted to trade.
2. We traded someone you wanted to keep.
3. We didn’t get the 3 first rounders you thought Player Y was worth.

Try to remember that the club is looking at every possibility and will work through all scenarios with clubs, players and managers as they arise, so that if they do or don’t make or accept an offer, that it’s a well thought out and well considered one.

There's also the ability to Pick trade right up to and during Draft night.

tl;dr? Whatever the club does/has done, they have more knowledge and insight into those decisions than you do. 🥳

Doesnt preclude us as fans from having an ulterior view. We aren't completely flying blind.

Jonathan Ceglar and a future fourth-round selection, in exchange for a future round three selection tied to Brisbane next year." - Cal Twomey reveals the Ceglar trade has been done

Didn't think we'd have to give a future fourth back especially if we're paying half his salary. Or perhaps we aren't?

Future 4th going Geelongs way with the Ceglar deal. Could be a handful of selections between the picks traded and we're paying salary. If that doesn't tell you about Ceglar's talent, I don't know what will.

Jeez and with us paying part of his salary we've practically paid them to take him off our hands.

Bruest 30 Wingard 27 Moore 21 brockman 18 and maybe still hanrahan 22

if we boost our midfield, meaning Wingard is more forward how can we possibly be wanting for small forwards?

You got what you wanted now stop being a dick.

Does anyone else feel like this is by far the most impotent and lacklustre trade period in modern memory?

Really need to shake things up next year, make it a 3 day affair and be done with it. Embarassing.
