4. Western Bulldogs - Sam Darcy
5. Gold Coast Suns - Mac Andrew

11. St.Kilda - Josh Sinn
12. West Coast - Matthew Johnson
13. Essendon - Nasiah Wangerneen-Milera

Lots of Josh's in the draft, it's easy to get confused.

I don't think Gibcus is making it past GWS or GC

Interesting you have the Lions taking the Slider and Bolter of the draft in Gicbus and Butler

Haha, yep, i've had the name Josh on the brain putting this together.

Simple reason for ranking Gibcus where I did.

I rate this draft stronger at the top end than last seasons.

I don't rate Gibcus as highly as DGB who is a player of a similar mould.

Denver went at the 5th live pick. Was honestly hard to justify having Gibcus higher than where I did.

I feel as though GWS take the best available in Callaghan, while the Suns look at taking a project X-Factor tall who can play anywhere.

I'm definitely not expert, so expect Gibcus to go higher than where I have him and to be a gun for 15 years.

I like that combination for the Lions. I rate Butler from what i've seen of him. Think he could be a similar player to Zac Bailey and if you had both on the same team you'd be laughing.

Edit: Could be a long term Zorko replacement.

Fair enough.
I think come draft time we'll see Gibcus go high, whether its's GWS who will bid on Darcy (if they bid on anyone) because they have said about their need for quality talls, which logically, you'd then go for the next best tall, which is Gibcus. They say he is the best key defender in the draft,

I'm not convinced GC will go with a project player at their only pick. Feels like, given their need to improve, they'll go for the sure thing. Whether that's Callahan (would suit nicely with their young stars, and his sandringham coach, now Suns VFL coach) or Gibcus if GWS go for Callahan or even Rachele (whom they are looking at) because GC need another key defender.

GWS have said they rate players differently given their retention issues, so they have changed their strategy with needs, whom will be in their best 22. And not someone that would be stuck behind a stacked midfield, and then likely to leave 2 years later.

But who knows, you could be right. We're all just guessing at this point.

There’s no way Freo select Knevitt if JVR is still on the table.

You'd probably know better than I would, of course.

I looked at Freos future without Mundy and Fyfe and considered those two big bodied mids (Knevitt and Erasmus) as an excellent replacement duo and nice compliment to Brayshaw and Serong.

my first round prediction. I think GWS will trade down to 3. Gold Coast won’t bid on any father/son.
GWS will then bid on Darcy first , then Daicos, then pick their man .

1. North Melbourne - Jason Horne-Francis
2. Gold Coast - Finn Callaghan (trade with GWS , GWS gets a future pick)
3. Western Bulldogs - Sam Darcy
4. Collingwood - Nick Daicos
5. GWS- Gibcus

7. Hawthorn- Ward
8. Fremantle- Amiss
9. Adelaide - Sinn

15. GWS - Mac Andrew
16. Brisbane - chesser

19. Melbourne- Draper
20. Brisbane - Howes

Wouldn’t be upset with Johnson & NWM but freo would definitely take a tall at 21 if they did that
