Been a bit of talk about Mitch Knevitt being a riser and going around our second pick, would love to hear from anyone that's watched a bit of him and their thoughts of his game and fit with us?
Personally from the little I've seen I hope it's not us interested in him with a pick around that range, I just can't quite see the really high upside that others can with him. Has tested well athletically but I haven't noticed much of it in games other than his height, looks rushed when he gets the ball in traffic and doesn't have the skill to play much on the outside. To me it just has a bit of an Ely Smith feel about it where they've tested really athletically and have risen up board on the back of their 'potential'.

Sometimes those late risers can be pretty handy.
The Bont, Oliver, Taranto.

Taranto should have been rated much higher from very early in the season. I never understood Twomey rating him in the low 20’s. He was tearing it up playing as a half forward.

In regards to Knevitt, because we missed most of the season, there’s still some questions for me about how much footballer versus athlete he is. But he does show more skills than Ely did.

Sinn's highlights up now. Can see why there is quite a bit of love for him. Looks like he could be the perfect Rich replacement.

For anyone that’s not aware, that’s Pete Williams, the chief editor of AFL Draft Central that’s commentating on all the VIC players highlights.

I haven’t watched all the videos, so I’m not sure who (or if there are commentators) commentates the other games.

Pete for Sandy v Oakleigh, Michael for Sandy v Northern, Me for Sandy v Dandenong

Conscious that they are highlights. Gee he looks good though. Even hits a couple of nice ones on the right foot! For all the talk of needs based and who to get this bloke looks very classy. Can't see him lasting until our pick.

eDPS and PMBangers while you’re both here, how big of a gap do you have between Sinn and Wilmot?

And more broadly how big of a gap do you have between your second and third tier guys?

Different sorts of defenders and long term I think Sinn turns into a midfielder/ winger, but it isn't massive in my eyes between the two. Sinn's flashier and you're getting far more offensively from him but Wilmot is just a really sound defender with some good but not outstanding rebound game, almost like a Brayden Maynard in a sense but with better kicking imo.

and again not massive, the common thing between them is I'm less confident of the guys in tier 3 becoming long term best 22 players

Guessing we don't have any rookie spots but Skinner would fill a need bringing him back onto the list, good honest depth while we are in the premiership window.

No chance this guy gets to a pick beyond 10 or 12. If it wasn't for the fact Sinn has been injured, he'd likely go inside the top five. Absolute gun footballer. amazing/lighting pace. Takes the game on, great kick. A 100 metre player. I've seen him play a couple of games live and I'd be happy if the tigers take him with pick 7.

Johnson's an interesting one. Has the height to be a Cripps or a Bont, but that's not his game currently, he needs to improve his strength and inside game. If he could do that, he'd be a hell of a player. If he doesn't, maybe he becomes a tall winger or HBF. If you're picking in the teens like we are, he offers a good mix of being a safe pick but still with good potential.

I actually think Johnson works well inside. I like him as an all around mid at the next level with high hurt factor on his disposals. He would still be in the top 3 of guys I would like at our pick along with Amiss and Sinn. Of those three he is probably the one we have best chance of getting.

Sinn I understand, but why Amiss? He seems locked into one position that we're pretty set for.
