Luke Jackson r/f lock 👍🏻
Grundy R1
Sean Darcy R2 (ahead of Gawn)
Lucky Jackson and/or Marshall in the forward line

Darcy will be the next uber premo ruckman

Still reckon I’ll role Gawn Grundy with Jackson in the forwardline

I have Darcy in fantasy and it’s been a great ride the last few months
Not sure he’ll pass either of the big dogs next year
But 2023 and beyond I’m on

Plenty already interesting me on each line, been trying to pay attention to those I really want next year.
DEF: Witherden with no thigh lord, TRENT, Lucosius if he keeps def status but he'll probably be mid only.
Mid: Oliver, Tracc, Bont, Macrae, Rowell, Daicos, Horne, Walsh
Ruck: Gawn, Grundy, Jackson r/f, Marshall r/f, English r/f, Darcy, Preuss. WTF is this line next year
Fwd: R/f's, Rozee, Rankine
Rayner worth a look in the low $300k's
Mrouch depending on discount and where he is.

All those R/F's 😍

Noah Anderson and Luko worth a look. Not Rankine for mine. Rosie a lock with a clean pre-season. Butters too especially if he doesn't play this year.

Yeah I'm looking at 2018 draftees, 4th season is traditionally when players start fulfilling potential. I'm thinking of going Darcy and one of Grundy or Gawn, Preuss R3 if he gets a good discount then Marshall, English and Jackson up forward coz why not. I've never played sc seriously in a non Gawndy dominant year so I'm actually looking forward to it

Any specific reason why 2023 and not 2022? He'll be 24 years old next year in his 6th season, no better time to graduate to uber-ruck. Gawn and Grundy fully uber-premo broke out in their 5th seasons.

Assuming they all hit round 1 fit after a clear pre-season it will be interesting to see how many go for Darcy. He's really breaking out this year.

Be nice having 3 SP rucks after 3/4 years of Gawndy being the clear best 2.

Draper looks bloody good too, but he is a couple of years away probably.

Tarryn Thomas definitely worth keeping an eye on. Averaging 96 from last 5. Should keep FWD eligibility next year. Would be a no as a mid only. Should be DPP.

Gawn Jackson Reminds me of nicnat Cox
Started with a 70:30 ruck split, which is this year for the dees guys
Then next year will be 60/40 with Gawn still elite
Then year 4 I reckon it’ll be a 50/50

Nicnat Cox both averaged 110+ in 2012 and split the Ruck time down the middle when nicnat broke out

I see a similar progression with Gawn and lj

Even if Darcy improves I still see Gawn averaging more next year

Jackson will be number 1 ruck next year. Bookmark this shit

My question was in reference to why you think Darcy won't fully breakout in his 6th season similar to how Grundy and Gawn broke out in their 5th seasons. Not who will average more. If the Rd1 price difference is 100k+ I'm going to pick the cheaper uber-ruck who isn't splitting ruck duties 60/40 even if I think he will average 5 ppg or there abouts less. That huge gap between Gawndy and the next best might be coming to an end. They might still be #1 & #2 but I don't think Darcy will be far behind from next year onwards.

This weeks potential Grundy v Darcy match up will be a good time for Darcy to audition for Rd1 consideration.

The same was said about rob last year catching Grundy this year

I never said anywhere Darcy wouldn’t break out?

We’ll see how Darcy looks next year
Injury issues seem to of gone which was the major concern. He Has a great ceiling and in an improving team
Like I said earlier I have him in fantasy and think he’s fantastic with his scoring set
Doesn’t rely on hit outs which is important

I’m going set and forget again and happy to wait to be proven wrong
No issue with anyone starting him

You said he'd be an option from 2023 and beyond and that he won't match Gawndy next year and I questioned why you think he won't have a similar uber-breakout similar to what Grundy/Gawn had in their 5th seasons. Not that I think you said he won't break out at all, because he already has. You know, jump from 95-105 ave to 120+ ave = uber-breakout.

Anyway it's far to early to write him off as a Rd1 option for 2022 when we're only half way through 2021

There’s every chance he does break into the next echelon next year
Love the kid

I’ll be starting grundy and Gawn again though. There’s no over thinking or mathematical factor why
I’ve wasted too many trades on rucks in the past and I don’t see Darcy as a captaincy option yet

he may get there in the next 10 games and show that but I’m backing in the two big dogs as will 90% of people on here. Reliability is hard to find in this Game and with preuss bobbing back up, English another potential breakout and nicnat having 2 years of basically playing every game the options will be wide open!

I hope he starts in your team and averages 120+ but I’ll wait and see Grundy and Gawn drop off before I start Darcy. I think 2023 when Jackson imo takes over from Gawn as number 1 Ruck will be the year Darcy does start for me

Not locked in to my Rd1 team by any means, I'm just not writing him off for next year just yet. That's all.

Hey fellas, just checking out my cash league. I noticed that I am ranked 3979 and scored 25233 points which has me ranked number 1. The guy who has scored the second most points has scored 25077 points and he is ranked 3208. I have scored more than him and yet he is ranked better than me. How does that work?
