So…Port’s AFLW team…how exactly with a 4m loss last year, and accumulated 13m debt, are they planning on paying for that, together with their high performance centre and the re-do generally to Sumberton?
How they going to pay for it all?.. do you really need to ask?..

How they always do…

Might be his farewell game for them. Can see a salary cap dump trade to Freo for a 4th round pick happening.

Thought that might be the answer 😂. Can I assume they will of course get the “home” showdown to start with..then the world’s easiest draw?
Home showdown within the first 4 weeks, in a prime time slot.
No double ups against top 4 teams.
Easiest draw in the competition.

Yep, you can pretty much lock it all in.

All this says to me....the Tasmanian Kangaroos.....https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/tasmania-s-afl-case-is-strong-but-pathway-into-league-clouded-20210813-p58ig1.html

Personally, I think relocation makes sense, rather than starting a team from scratch (which would further limit the talent pool....).....bit like Brisbane and Sydney you would have support in two states, and North could move from being effectively a hand-out club (at least financially) to one with a strong base.

With the GCS..as much as I think they will always be a failure...you need a presence in Southern Qld...it is just growing to fast to ignore...

How does Horne feel about moving to Tassie?

Can GWS win tonight without Greene?

Asking for a friend that after 20 years is at the pointy end of a tipping comp
17 teams in the league are rooting hard for that tonight.
If Richmond lose, does this shut the mathematical door on them?

Good to see ports season of luck keeps on rolling on..you know, where each week they roll up and the opposition have key players out, get injuries to key players in game etc..well carlton have put mckay in for surgery this week AND liam jones is out with injury..just in time to front port

just to keep in theme ...Carlton with another player under injury cloud just in time for the port game

Richmond have been hideously fawned over by the media all season when really they're only three wins better than the Crows who have lost 5 games by under 2 goals including three games by under a gaol. Richmond are the second most overrated team in the comp and not worthy of the media fapfest.

GWS - shit, good, shit, good, shit, good...randomly shit or good. You never know which end of the good-shit spectrum is going to turn up. Last time they lost to Richmond by 3 points at Marvel. Playing them at Marvel AGAIN.

Make of it what you will, but even without Greene, Richmond looking cooked so I'm going with GWS.

You're welcome. (but don't come crying to me if the shit GWS turn up) :D

So the report into a Tasmanian AFL team has found that relocating a team to Tasmania is the best pathway forward.

Will be interesting to see what happens from here. I'm betting on absolutely nothing
Perfect result for the VFL.

Yes Tasmania should have a team, but no not an expansion team.
Yes, if we can get a team to relocate, Tasmania should definitely have a team.

Oh, sorry, couldn't find a team willing to do it. I guess we will keep on trying....might happen later.

Tasmania stop the yearly argument because the VFL have already agreed they can have a team, and like Morrison, they get to take no responsibility for it to actually happen.

They’ll get Erin Phillips in some capacity then she’ll sh*t on the club which gave her her dream
She will be employed as a coach/assistant in some capacity. She will be respectful about her time at Adelaide (she has a radio show that relies on ratings). They will then talk it up about being the daughter of a favourite Son, being home etc... They will 100% make a big deal out of it.

but least her kids will come under the mother- son/daughter rule when they bring it in
