Not much room on a mankini for the bars but I found some...

An 11th hour change of mind will allow them to wear the jumper they want, they'll call it a victory and spin it so hard to their fans, that the fans were responsible for getting the AFL to change its mind.

Absolutely nothing surer, they probably already know that they can wear it and is saving it for their big reveal.

Burying the prison bar for good would be the answer
What happens if the AFL reserves league gets up and running the "Power reserves" wouldn't be able to wear the prison bars, Port Adelaide would no longer be in the SANFL so the jumper would in fact die.

Everyone knows what they're doing, step 1 wear on Special occasions, Step 2 wear in Showdowns, Step 3 wear at Home except against Collingwood, step 4 Wear it every week then inverted colours away except when playing collingwood.

Yep, will be used to help get them a sellout crowd.

Spot on

A yes to this request will just lead to more requests

If your players supposedly play better because they're wearing a different Guernsey with more "history" then you've got issues.

Oh I so hope we rock up in the SA state Guernsey in the showdown and be like "well technically it's our history as we were formed by all SANFL clubs" just some complete utter bullshit to piss them off

‪To celebrate our SANFL heritage and contribution to SA football, Crows should wear a different SANFL guernsey each year in the showdown. Start with Glenelg. I’m sure Richmond won’t mind. ‬

Just wanted to say a big cheerio to Mark LoGiudice the outgoing Carlton president at the end of this year for presiding over the worst Carlton football performances for decades . He might have got the debt down but the rebuilds..THE REBUILDS..thanks for the laughs :D
Buggar... hope they don't replace him with anyone decent....

I still dont understand Port Power, they have been in the competition for barely 20 years, I dont recall that plastic franchise wearing a prison bar jumper when they came in 1997.
they are desperate.. the club is in mountains of debt.. they need to increase their supporter base.

I read an article a few years back and the gist of it was that when Adelaide joined the AFL alot of sanfl port adelaide supporters obviously became crows supporters.. a few years later when port power started it is believed a lot of these supporters migrated back to port adelaide away from the crows.. but a fair few didn't.. a fair few didn't associate the sanfl port adelaide with the AFL Port Powa.. and simply stayed on as crows supporters..

at the same time some traditional port adelaide sanfl supporters decided not to follow either of the two AFL clubs and just continue following the sanfl side only..

Port Adelaide (AFL side) has been trying to get these supporters all back ever since and they see the link to the prison bars guernsey as one way of enabling the old supporters to regain that lost connection..

thats how the story went anyway.. seems plausible.. could also be a BS excuse as to why their supporter base is less than adequate..

It's a little late to try and win those fans back isn't it? Like 20 years of stuff has happened to those fans. They're better off trying to get a new generation on board.... You know like we have with our women's team.

They've totally miss read the market. These days it all about new fans, new members it's never about old ones.
