In the short/medium term, this fight can only be won in a court of law. We have almost universal support across the competition, we have every sensible argument in the book on our side, but we still haven't been able to achieve the outcome we're after......

Hahahahaha
No you won’t win in court ... you have no $$$$

And your arguments are ridiculous

And you do not have anything even close to “universal” support

You just won the d/head trifecta

But why should such a contract exist?

Why are Collingwood part of the decision making process of what Port can wear in a game they are not playing in?

It’s pretty obvious isn’t it?

Imagine if a Tassie team wanted red yellow and navy hoops. Or a black with yellow sash. Collingwood are black and white in the AFL.

North and Geelong are both Blue and White.

The designs of Port and Collingwood are different.

Plus Port are not changing their jumper full time. Just two games. They will never play Collingwood in it. Nor be referred to as the Magpies.

If Port wanted this jumper for all home games I would agree.

They are different shades of blue and both teams are okay with it. Like how us, Suns and Fitzroy/Brisbane are okay with it. Collingwood are not okay with it. It’s that simple.

I get that Collingwood don't like it.

But why do the AFL have to rule in their favour?

What logic is there in Collingwood's brand being diminished with Port wearing that jumper for two games?

Matt Randall makes those comments. Vlad puts pressure on us to sack him. We do.

Was it 6 months later he was a Collingwood employee?

The great thing is they (Port) can’t really take any legal action given they owe $$$ to the AFL.

You seriously have to wonder about the intellect of the management of the PAFC - they signed a agreement to wear it once in their 150th year. They signed an agreement and now they don’t want to honour that agreement.

Seriously, they carry on like a drug addict. Always want more and more.

fu** em!

There was no once in the agreement. They agreed to wear it that year. They did not agree not to wear it in future years.

Whenever a port supporter arks up about the prison bars, maybe remind them of this - wasnt their jumper for the first 32 years of their existance - and then was cast aside again and again up until the early 50s - dont believe me - check this out http://www.footyjumpers.com/portpre.htm
Port began wearing black and white bars in 1902. 78 years before your franchise was created.
