Max King is just something else. We only seen small glimpses of it last year but this season he’s another player altogether. He feels bigger, fitter and stronger which is not good news for opposing defences. A lot of time will go into him and his jump at the footy which allows others to get free. The kid could honestly be anything. A freak.
I'm legit jealous you got to touch our saviour.

Just heard on SEN that Lethlean turned Adelaide down as he wanted to stay at Saints.

Who would want to report to Riccuito? He also saw how the comically amateur way they operated during the Brad Crouch FA saga. Who would want to go to a shitshow like that especially when you can't get rid of Riccuito, the members have no say in who runs the club.

Yep, as I said after the trade period. He isn't going anywhere, not for a while yet. He turned down the AFL offer to stay with the saints because we gave him his second chance. He is a proud man and extremely grateful for that.

Gets us to a second flag, he writes his own ticket.

He turned down the essendon gig and that was a huge opportunity in terms of power and reach at their football club.

We then tweaked his role at St Kilda. Argument could be made that lethers is as powerful as Finnis now.

After years of being “the good guys” and seen as pushovers off the field having Lethers has changed the whole dynamic. Don’t think I’ve seen someone come into a basket case club and just get shit done like he has.
A very important man to any future success we may have.

The way he restructured the list in such a short time is incredible. 16 players from 45 are left from when he arrived. 10 played in the Richmond final and another 7 to 9 potentially will not be listed in a year or two unless something turns around quickly for them.

He's a smart operator. Why leave a club as they are just coming up, when you see them to their second premiership!!! Then the next pay-check will be enormous... This is the Roos or Clarko way, stay put if your on a good thing - doing good work - and then become a Legend!!!!

Its the combination of the off field "team" that is so impressive, like bringing in a piece of the puzzle to the mix, Lether has raised all performances. Finnis was struggling under the weight of the basket case he walked into, was performing admirably but was under water. Lethers luckily stuffs up at HQ, comes to us after Carlton knock him back ( :D :D :D :D Never change Brown baggers) joins with Finnis and Bassett, brings in the likes of Gallagher and Rath amongst others, gets in Ratts, Roughy, McGlynn and the others, works with this assembled team to revamp the list, we come home to Linton St and we are suddenly back in the finals.
Lethlean, Finnis and the rest are forming the most stable off field group I have seen at the club. Not yet the success of 2004-2010 but there is no on field success without off field success.

Onwards and upwards.

Don't forget Gubby Allen. Oldschool = masterstroke ;)

Left leaning will be one of those tarts that go from one club to another until retirement.

He can go with our blessing if he helps us snag a flag ( or two) first!
