Not buying in to Clark, Dow or Young, but thats just me. Fwds look a bit weak

At this stage I'm taking the hit in my rucks. A big hit, but man it makes the rest of the team less risky and much more balanced.

Marshall listed 2-4 weeks .

Makes it tricky picking Hunter.

Or does Smack get smacked down..

Coach quoted; Marshall should be back R2 or R3 ......so you may get 1-2 games from Hunter, not even a price rise

But will depend on how the teams drop. Hunter may come in.
The main concern is JS for these guys. Not scoring TBH.

Battle of the titans in round 1, Flynn vs Hunter at the centre bounces. Cannot recall seeing two zero game rookies duke it out in such an important position.

You'd scoff at that, if you were watching a reserves match

From a scoring perspective, I don't see it as risky, but with guys like Marshall and Darcy coming back, cash gen from the rookies could be an issue.

Looks like a lot of us are going deep in defense with an extra mid pricer. All due to lack of rookie options. I had to reshuffle my defence and downgrade Gaff to Rowell to get Aliir in at D5.

Huuuuuuuuge risk Massive reward. Dont half mind it to be honest. Gives you enough money to upgrade say a mid price midfield or defense option to a keeper and a rookie to a mid price option or pending on how much you got to a keeper. I toyed around with it but I just cant see how the **** I will upgrade a rookie to one of Gawn or Grundy. It wouldn't be able to happen at a minimum until the byes, just not for me. Glood luck man!!

I'm seeing more $$$ spent on Team DEF than Midfields ......it's an interesting strategy, given many of the defenders are probably maxed in scoring capacity IMHO

Yeah, I agree. I have gone cheap in the forward line, Danhier at F3. Really want to pick Gawn and a rookie ruck but I just cannnnttttttttt

He's an Academy player from Pt Ausgust ......think of the Gold Coast of Sth Australia

Has stated he reguarly gave up in games .....so was rookied, with a slim chance of making the grade ....very very fast, and with super skills, but would he work hard enough

So far his improvement has been dramatic, adding an inside game, looking real good ......but I'd have him on your watchlist moreso for 2022

if gawn goes off thats basically your season done lol, huge risk but if it works you'll look like a genius and be ahead of everyone
