I realise it's a development call, but with Clav and Joyce doing well down back it would be nice to see Allison go back to the forward line soon and see if he can give us something there.

The lack of a marking target is clear.
Seems strange that one of them isnt being played up forward.

Only difference is we are taking our chances. Pies dominating play the last 30 minutes.
We do have midfield injuries which doesn't help but we clearly need to get a few young mids in there.

Yeah he looks like a proper footballer. Not just an athlete we are trying to turn into a footballer. Which is nice for a change. Has a good IQ

The Sandy side hasn't got a tall forward either.
A bunch of key backs and some forwards attempting to be mids, and thats it.

Have a few mid sized fwds who are playing as mids or are injured (J.Ross)
Problem is the 4 talls they are playing are rucks and not great fwds. Hunter, Alabakis, Carey and Henness

They are there it’s just that most of them have issues. McKernan is injured, one had to be moved to the backline, we’ve got another one as the medical sub today plus an extra one in the team which just leaves Sharman by himself. Way too many options IMO.
Would have made sense to give Battle a game forward for a change instead of the injury sub
Allison, Battle and McKerna all out of the 22 and just Sharman forward.

Doesnt look that bad really especially given only a couple of those would walk into the seniors.
That is excluding Geary, Hanners, Carlisle, Gresh, Paton or their replacements.
Lonie has been very quiet. Good goal
