Are any Geelong Supporters heading over for the game against North in Hobart later this month?....it will be great to see the cats play in Hobart for the first time ever.

I would in normal circumstances, but I'm not leaving Victoria until I can be guaranteed I won't get locked out.

Rapt the Richmond game is an afternoon game and not a Friday night. Easily for our supporters to get to and I prefer the atmosphere at day games.
Not sure 12th-mond will be playing to many more prime time games across this season - the league wants to keep those slots for better performing teams as a reward for their efforts

So for teams playing Richmond across the rounds, they'll need to get used to the idea of playing in the less desired timeslots such as the early weekend session or Sunday Twilight

Rumour is the AFL is lining the Cats up to go straight to QLD. Rich are there already as are Nth. Hopefully in two weeks we can get home to play those last 3 home games.

Back to 5 men and a dog at the game? This time there were cases in geelong. This time there was spread from footy. ... but yes lets hope we get back to KP before the year ends.

GEELONG has entered a request with the AFL to have next weekend's clash against Richmond, scheduled for the MCG, moved to GMHBA Stadium.

However, given the COVID-19 outbreak in Victoria in recent days and the possibility of no crowds being able to attend matches next weekend, the Cats have asked the League to consider relocating the round 19 clash to GMHBA Stadium.

Hmmmm... Maybe no Friday night encounter with Melbourne

dont think that will hurt our lot - an extra day or 2 to recover, plus the flight back etc.. but not long enough to be considered a bye or anything too long.

"The Cats and Giants clash is likely to be scheduled in front of empty stands again at GMHBA Stadium in the marquee slot, replacing the Essendon and Western Bulldogs’ game that was originally scheduled for Friday night." - Herald Sun

Explains why no email from the club saying, time to buy tickets. C'mon Dan, open up the games mate.

First bounce is at KP this Friday night at 7:50pm. Let's give those Giants a smack.

At some point the club is going to have to offer some form of compensation for all the missed games this year for members.
