Would prefer Gunston over Gaff as I think our forward line is clearly the area that could do with improvement. Gaff also appears to have dropped away a little in terms of his impact on games. Personally, I'd rather back in guys like Bowey and Rivers to try and fill the role.

Interestingly just saw this comment in the age regarding Cerra.

While Carlton are clearly ahead, Melbourne are the only other viable alternative as a home for Cerra. But the Demons would need to lose a player of note in order to consider Cerra, which is unlikely.

Yeah no. You can't just accumulate trash and think that it adds value. Weideman isn't a best 22 player and Brayshaw is only a fringe player. Freo would want an early pick and a good player, not 2 avg to poor ones.

I think at the moment that our greatest strength is our team spirit and cohesion, and i'm not sure it'd be worth threatening that by trading out a popular clubman and making a 20 year old one of our top 3 paid players.

Generally, we need to develop defenders for our future. Replacements for May, Jetta, and future cover for Lever. just in case.
A key tall forward & ruck understudy = Mac Andrew.
And an X factor small half forward.
