I literally disagree with everything you say, kind of impressive. He joined us front ended contract and only leaving now. I don't see anyone protecting beams, nor should they protect Neale. I'm sure he has his reasons for wanting to leave, but it hurts the club immensely that he is doing it and it obviously shows how much he cares for the club.
I feel so sick in the stomach from hearing this news man right now like its not even funny like it's not the fact that Neale is moving back to WA that makes me upset but more so now what this could mean for the commitment of the other younger players staying at the club long-term in the future if Neale does leave the club for good (Berry, McCluggage, Rayner, Bailey, Starcevich, Robertson etc).
He's a contracted player who is already spoken to a coach of an opposition club before the trade period has even started. Who knows, he probably talked to him before he told anyone in the club as well. You can defend this, but I'm not. I'm sure he has his reasons for returning, but surely honouring his contract and leaving for Perth when it's over is the least he could do.But it does show how much he cares for his wife?
I don't think you're old enough to understand external elements of football.

How? A contract is a contract. No restraint of trade although no doubt a trade will occurThat is restraint of trade mate.

He played in Fyfe's shadow at Fremantle, so he joined Brisbane where he could join a winning team while also being the main player. He was never winning a Brownlow at Fremantle, and he only won it here because he was surrounded by great players. Of course Neale Is a fantastic player, but Fyfe is better and he would kept Neale in the background.
we better unlock itSorey for the intrusion, but when you Google "Lachie Neale Trade" one of the first things that pops up on Google is this brossie board thread from few days ago that was shut down for trolling lol
Lachie Neale - requesting trade back to Perth.
I have heard some swirling rumours that Lachie Neale will request a trade back to Perth at the end of Brisbanes 2021 campaign. His wife is about to give birth and wants to be in Perth (where her family lives). Not sure of the logistics of a trade as he is contracted, but interesting non the less....www.bigfooty.com
Isn't it convenient that a player who wants to go to Perth for family reasons picked only Fremantle? The rumour doesn't even mention west coast at all, which is interesting considering his reason is for family? If that was the case, why not allow us to trade him to west coast if we could get a better deal out of it?You think players only talk to coaches and managers during trade period?
Oh boy, this is you 2hrs into this news. You need to pace yourself.
