Not sure how we could afford him but Battle would go ahead of a few of our half backs for me. Assuming 4 small/hybrid defenders I’d be going with Rich, Starce, Coleman and Battle. This move could potentially help a Starce to the mids as well.

Where would he play - 3rd forward tall/ruck?
I few him similar to Ah Chee, could play on either flank and on the wing however he’s a bit bigger and was put into key positions for St Kilda at times. I always thought he was a pretty good player with a mix of good skills on both sides, a nice mark and a good mover for his size but he seemed to be on the outer at the Saints.

He mentioned Coleman pacifically as Birchall replacement on B&F night after Birchall’s retirement speech
Yeah, there's a difference between a promise and encouraging a young player to grab an opportunity.

View him as a utility. He can play Key position either end and has played on the wing as well.
Remember him in his draft year at TAC Cup level. Nice type of player who I think hasn't yet reached his potential. But what dosh would he be on?

I can recall during the 2019 trade period that there was talk of Celgar, especially with the Fagan-Hawks link, but then he re-signed for 3 yrs. Where does he sit now against the likes of Cox and Casboult?

Much better ruck, much better person but offers less forward

I have no idea if Ceglar is pro-vax or not, but if he isn't anti-vax then yes I will say he is a better person.
What a world we live in. I guess that makes some of the people close to me shit humans? Simple as Vax or no Vax. Good person v shit person.

He's a Bigfooty disciple, of course he's religious silly.
My philosophy has become that we all are in our own way. Be that the church, sport, social justice, veganism, fitness. We all fill that void somehow. And we certainly aren't free of judgement of others, be that raising our eyebrows at the sinners or doing likewise to those we don't agree with.

And ftr I haven't met a vegan cross-fitter that I could tolerate yet either.

Battle was a slightly (~192cm) undersized KPF in the TAC cup, hadn’t finished school when drafted, and did year 12 in his first year at St Kilda.

Was moved to defence when St Kilda drafted the other King.

Can’t say I’ve ever really noticed him at AFL level.
