I understand we are considering an offer from Melbourne. We swap our first for their this year first, 7 for 13, their 2023 first and a couple of our 2022 picks 30+
Wait, just so I have this clear:

We give:
Pick 6
Pick 41 (example)
Pick 45 (example)

We Get:
Pick 13
Melbourne F1

That's enough to make me pause before hanging up on them, but it would feel weird to move off 6 for that. I'll trust us if we take something like that though, it's a bold play.

Another thing that I notice which impresses me with McKenzie is the way he moves. He takes off quickly with little steps, has a nice side step and can change direction quickly. He looks and moves like a small dude but he’s 6’2! Reckon Lewis would be licking his lips seeing him with the ball running towards him.

Whatever happens on Monday night, I reckon the scenes here are going to be unmissable!
Nothing beats the howls of derision taking rough buddy and Lewis. In hindsight they arguably took over 50% of that entire drafts talent in terms of output

Apart form talkback I think the hawks fans were in HHQ those days

Need both their F1, maybe throw in our f2 (although they’d be no more than 8 picks between them but sounds better in trading
Go into with 3 first rounders. We will be seeing our team take shape

Yep. Absolutely stitched.

Would be willing to throw in a F2/3 in to make it happen TBH.
We still end up with a solid player at 13, and next years draft depth means that even if it's a Freo/Melb final we're coming out a fair ways ahead imo.

If we end up with potentially Hewett, Ginbey or Allen with that first this year and manage to snag George/Jones with our second I'd be ecstatic

If this happens we must have some insight that one of McKenzie or clark get to that pick which is a possibility.

Geelong - Allan
Eagles - ginbey
Saints - McKenzie
Carlton- hollands
Bulldogs - buslinger/weddle
Eagles - jefferson

Essentially getting the player we were happy to take at 6 + adding a future 1st is a big win.

The more I think about it the more I think Allan is the target.

We dont have pick in the 30s do we? Are we trading with brisbane first?

That was my thought exactly. they might be confident one of our targets could get to 13
