I trust it is okay to post the NAB Finals Fixture here. Four of the five wildcard games next weekend and two of the quarter finals the following week are played at Mars Stadium in Ballarat. Very disappointing/inconvenient choice of venue. I hope the PFs are played at IKON Park.

would love to know why Mars has been chosen as the primary finals venue for this week. Surely there are other grounds available in Metro Melb that are available. Not sure recruiters will enjoy flying into Melb and then having to drive for 2 hrs.

Local footy finals taking up most NAB League venues and AFLW being hosted at IKON, but I think Mars is the best spot regardless for the seating and open ground view from everywhere

How do you view Humphrey? is he a realistic chance at our pick or is it to early.
he is a quality midfielder who has good goal sense to play as a forward, but he has been injured for the majority of 2 years and so i think he goes just outside of the top 10 because injury prone players have a bit of bust potential imo.

if we do a medical on him and like how he plays he could also be in contention?

Guys, there’s still so much to play out with where picks land when trade period has not occurred, so I’m going to continue to delete the back and forth about how you see the top 5 playing out and the responses arguing a variation.

And I’ll be doing this until, at least the end of the trade period.

There’s a draft board for you to put together your phantom drafts.
This is still in play, just so you know.

Do we think North is guaranteed to bid on Ashcroft, or is there a chance that they North it?
Would be going against tradition at this point if they did choose to bid. Two years in a row they've let Sydney and then Collingwood get early picks for less than they should have by not bidding.

The difference being Ashcroft snubbed Norf despite reports his preference was to remain in Vic. It would be payback.

Brayden George played just the half of footy in his comeback on the weekend, which was planned. Kicked 1.1, and had 8 disposals.

Bushies play Dragons this week which I was hoping would be at Sandy so that I could get to it, but it's being played at Willy.

Thanks for that. First time I've seen Cadman and the first time I'd feel comfortable taking someone that isn't a mid.

Looks great. Can't put my finger on who he reminds me of. A much more mobile Jack Riewoldt? Pav?
To be honest he reminds me a lot of Roughie. Has that ability when the ball hits the deck to get it to foot very quickly.

To my eyes, he looks like a better prospect than Logan MacDonald did as an underage prospect. His skill set looks suited to AFL-style footy.

Yes I agree he looks like Roughy when the ball hits the ground. I like him.
Needs to improve his kicking for goal but that can be done.

He reminds me of Jeremy Cameron. His running gait and the way he swings onto his left when playing on is freakishly like Cameron.

Realistically it's down to Cadman and McKenzie for mine.

Honestly I'm going to be stoked with whoever we take as long as it isn't Busslinger. I'm still 99% sure we won't take him if he's available though. (Controversial opinion: Lewis Hayes impresses me more and teams are likely to get him as a second rounder).

Likely that Cadman will be off the board come our selection.

I'm a bit concerned about McKenzie's disposal by foot, however his ability to break away from congestion and link up with 2 or 3 disposals in a chain is something completely lacking on our list.
