Our pick probably a bit early for him, but I like Hustwaite for us. Our defence could use a half back with his size. Seems capable as an interceptor.
Wouldn't be against it, 194cm is taller than a lot of gun interceptors these days (Lever, May, Sicily)

We only have O’Brien or Khamis as that medium sized defender, and they both play as undersized talls, really, as opposed to HBF. We have a bit of a gap for a Heath Chapman type.
Luke Cleary? He's more your pure medium than that 194cm guy who can roll across to help out on the really big guys though

Yeah I guess I view him as a small, similar to Crozier, due to his frame.
190cm is a handy height. Just needs to fill out a bit more which I'm sure he'll do with an extra pre-season or two. He's only 20 (an overage draft selection).

Crozier is 185cm.

Lewis Hayes took a very impressive mark for VM, intercepting at will. Has a great frame to fill into, should be a bit of a unit in time. With a late birthday you’d imagine he might grow to the 200 mark currently at 197cms.

Also, Nick Watson small forward not draft eligible till next year would be perfect to add to our forward line. Will probably go quite high, absolute gun.

Hi Doggies Fans & Draft Watchers - pardon the intrusion.

For those who might be interested I've created a thread over at the Draft hub about the BigFooty 2022 National Draft Crowdsourced Rankings (!!) which allows BF draft fans like yourself to participate in creating a 'crowdsourced player power ranking'. You can read about it on that thread or go straight to the survey site here to cast your own votes towards a crowdsourced ranking.

It's got close to 4000 votes since launching this morning so whether you're a draft guru or just an interested onlooker we'd love to have your input into this different approach to ranking the prospective draftees for 2022.

It's very simple - just go to Who is the better prospect for the 2022 AFL National Draft? and rank the player you think is better from each random pair that are shown...do it as many times as you like and see what player combos you get shown.

Below is a snapshot of the top 10 so far but you can see the full results here. Love to have you join in!

Note: the survey is about choosing which player you think is the better prospect so the scores you see below are the estimated chance (based on the BigFooty crowd responses) that a player will win (i.e. will be chosen) against any other randomly chosen player (from the pre-populated list of ~45 top prospects). For example, a score of 100 means the player is predicted to be selected every time and a score of 0 means the player is predicted to not be selected every time.

Let’s hope we can snag him and. 1 v1 KPD either in draft or trade.

Hayes had 30 disposals on the weekend, seems to improving more and more and was seen as a speculative selection early on in the season. Not sure on the current recruiting team, but I know the recruiting team under Dalrymple loved that they had a high rate of improvement.

If our first is out of the top 10, then i think we are entering into Lewis Hayes range.

All depends who we rate and who is left - will likely go best available on our draft board.
