Blues board seem pretty convinced they're taking Hollands.

Yeah I get the feeling he’s who we will like too, just screams one of our picks by his write ups. There’s a knock on his kicking though? Don’t love that for a winger but what level are we talking? The more I watch and read the more I can see Hollands being the pick for us at 11, unless there’s an unexpected slider. He’ll be both arguably best available and a need, and since he’s strong defensively he might earn a wing/HF role straight away.
Could mean only Buss left for usBlues board seem pretty convinced they're taking Hollands.
Unfortunately he won’t be still around if GWS holds their current picks. Almost a certainty to go there at 15, 18 or 19.Konstanty is a dogs supporter. Now let’s all get on the bandwagon.

Konstanty will he gone by 21 so long as GWS keeps their picks. The only other likely move would be Carlton taking him if they can land some of GWS’s picks for their pick 10.Hollands should be the 1 to take imo. I doubt Busslinger, Phillipou & Mackenzie last until dogs get to pick. I wonder though if dogs will rate George higher though. George at 11 and Konstanty at 21 would be pretty good.
Todays rumors are dons want phillipou. If they think they can get him later in the top 10 they'll trade down to get him. Lyons wants speed so a trade for dons pick 4 would be what saints are probably willing to do. They'll want Tsatas and try and get their fans excited.
BF seems to have fallen off him but I’d be stoked, he’ll never hold down FB but we need all sorts of defenders and he’s best in the draft, with the view that Darcy goes forward post Lobb there’s a gaping hole for an interceptor at CHB and he looks like he’ll be an absolute gun in that role IMOCould mean only Buss left for us
He'll probably be good and fits a need but probably the most nervous I'd be of the (consensus) top 12.
Exactly, not to mention the financial savings you have paying guys peanuts who are contributing to your best 22 each week.Makes a mockery of our short-sited decision to offer Rookie spots to Footscray players. Need to look at all options not just what's under your nose.
Remember when our web was wider and we drafted JJ, Dahlhause, Boyd, Morris and Picken (who was from a feeder VFL team, Willy).
Rookie selection is such an important pick as when they come off, they can be inspired choices as the above from Geelong show (5 Rookie picks)

If we could potentially land Buss and Weddle we’ve set up our defence for years and our spine is looking bloody juicy, then hit the midfield hard next year and our list will be primed to peak together
In a bad draft though the consensus almost always ends up diabolically wrong. The club has never been afraid to go their own way either. I wouldn't be worried about missing out on one of those 'consensus top 12' guys - there'll be someone we like, even if it is to the howls of the phantom experts.Could mean only Buss left for us

It's interesting, felt like the board was red hot on Busslinger earlier in the year when it looked like we'd have an earlier pick, then we finished higher and it looked like we'd miss him, now he might fall to us but people seem to have cooled.BF seems to have fallen off him but I’d be stoked, he’ll never hold down FB but we need all sorts of defenders and he’s best in the draft, with the view that Darcy goes forward post Lobb there’s a gaping hole for an interceptor at CHB and he looks like he’ll be an absolute gun in that role IMO

Ild be happy to get Busslinger. It's interesting, felt like the board was red hot on Busslinger earlier in the year when it looked like we'd have an earlier pick, then we finished higher and it looked like we'd miss him, now he might fall to us but people seem to have cooled.

No current season stats available
Feels like this is the way the mail is suggesting it will go currently:
1. GWS - Aaron Cadman
2. Brisbane - Marcus Ashcroft (matched bid)
3. North - George Wardlaw
4. North - Harry Sheezel
5. Essendon - Mattaes Phillipou
6. Gold Coast - Reuben Ginbey
7. Hawthorn - Bailey Humphrey
8. Geelong - Elijah Tsatas
9. West Coast - Jhye Clark
10. St Kilda - Cam McKenzie
11. Carlton - Oliver Hollands
Pulling things together, it feels like West Coast and Geelong will really set the scene for who's available at our pick. If the Cats are super locked in on Clark, that means Tsatas will probably slide all the way through to St Kilda. Depending what WCE do in that scenario - particularly if they go for local talent - there's a decent chance one of McKenzie/Hollands is available for us.
Personally hope busslinger slides to us to force us to finally draft a key defender and address the biggest weakness on the list
I also think the Essendon pick is an interesting one. Can see them taking Humphrey which would probably mean Tstatas to Hawks, Clark to Geelong then maybe Busslinger to WC.Feels like this is the way the mail is suggesting it will go currently:

Agree completely.Any combination of...
Busslinger
Weddle
Clarke
Hollands
George
Allen
Kostanty
... at our two first picks would be a good result imo. Gibney would be nice but seems to be going long before 11. Haven’t really read much or or seen much of the others around those picks, but the above seem to be there abouts in most articles written or lists put together.
If Busslinger is still available at our first pick then he’s almost definitely best available. Was firmly inside the top 8 or so players in the pool until injury wiped out the back end of his season.I'm not that interested in Busslinger. I'd rather draft best available with our first pick and pick up Weddle later on.
I'm incredibly high on Weddle. He may not be a pure number 1 defender (he may still turn into a May type) but he'd be a great prospect in the Tom Stewart type mould.
Don't know if Eagles would be interested in Clark or trade out 8 for swans or giants picks if they know Hewett will still be there at 12 and get Allen & jones before their pick 20 where they can reach for Broadbent or take Barnett.Feels like this is the way the mail is suggesting it will go currently:
