A simple 8 game winning streak from here. We're always putting ourselves in a winning position, so can't rule it out. Would indeed be our sweetest.
Halfway there.

Momentum on our side - we are blowing teams out of the water in the premiership quarter.

Role players stepping up - Cumberland becoming a Lambert-Townsend hybrid, MRJ leading the league in intercept points, Miller giving us an enormous amount of structural flexibility as a utility, Sonsie and Ross with some spark in the engine room, and Gibcus channeling his inner Grimes.

X-factors locked and loaded - Bolton and Baker have had a quiet couple of weeks but we know they step up for big games, whilst Rioli just keeps growing his ownership of the half back

Healthy stars - players who have faced niggles in the past are primed in Prestia, Lynch, and Nank, with Martin coming back ready to gear up for the big dance.

Gabba, SCG, MCG - doesn't matter which G we're at. We've been in a winning position this season against every team we're playing from here.

Sure, all it takes is one bad game. But the belief and hope in our ability to go all the way should be as high as if we had the double chance - any team, anywhere, any time.

When we've had bad games it's been for around a 1/2 & the other half has been amazing. We are starting to run out games & we need to build on that to have a chance.

5 of the 8 teams who beat us did not make the finals ... that's a bit of a blight on our season but also a bonus at this stage of the season^^. Geelong by 3 points, Sydney by 6 points and Melbourne by 22 points (quite early in the season). Only Melbourne of the teams left beat tested us comfortably, the teams that actually had our measure, Carlton in round first round by 4 goals, St Kilda 5 goals and Adelaide 3 goals are all out. We won't mention Gold Coast or our generous 'gift' to the fill in coach of you know who.

A surprising thing is how few injuries all the top 8 have at this time of the year.

Regardless its all in our hands ... we can still get 3 games at the G if Sydney rolls Melbourne

I am sure the teams in our side of the draw are delighted we are there ^^
