Because a week is a long time in footy and we didn’t play.
They probably forgot were even in the League tbh. Much like the rest of the AFL media.

Its a pretty fair assessment in my opinion....we still have much to prove....beating the CROWS and NORTH are just VFL type victories....we will be in the conversation if we beat LIONS and SWANS! The longer we keep winning the more it benefits us to be under rated! Doesn't it?

I agree but beating Geelong the other week was nothing? They’re still talking up Geelong as possibly the biggest threat to Melbourne.

I think we beat Sydney. We match up well against them.

Brisbane is 50-50. They look off atm and are coming off a 5 day Perth trip.
But with Daniher back, as well as hipwood and a rotating ruck may stretch our backline.

Understood! That was nearly a month ago...old news...it certainly gives me cause to hope....the task is there for us to prove....we havent stamped our credentials by a long way!....Who we beat and how over the next 6!

Don’t know why you’ve got your bee in a your bonnet over this.
I was originally querying kingy and Gerard’s “current” seedings, Of which I’d say our form is better than Geelongs who they both had in there. Hell, even brisbanes last few weeks have been average. Conceding over 100 points to hawthorn, nearly losing to GWS (conceding almost 100 points again) and losing to Freo.

Never, anywhere have I mentioned we re finishing top 4 above those teams. I just think our form guide over the last month looks better than Geelong and Brisbane (who have had the easiest run of the top 8).
They even had the premiership odds with about 10 teams in there and we weren’t even mentioned.

I think we don't know yet. We have the next month to prove out credentials against some of our rivals. We can't afford many trip ups but neither can they. Brisbane are probably too good for us. Sydney depends on which Sydney turns up. Essendon hopefully don't jump up but should be an easy kill, Carlton are as historically flaky as we are. It might be one of the games of the season. Get three wins from it and we are a very good shot at top 4. Lose 2 still a chance. Lose 3 or all of them and we will need to hope we make the 8 still.

3 weeks ago I thought we would win both Sydney games on their form the last two weeks they look very good 50/50 at best now I thought we were just ok against Crows and North hopefully we lift the intensity for bigger games, can only judge on what we have seen I think we will 5 more six at very best which won’t be enough for top four

Haha apologise for what?! Having integrity?
The bombers clearly knew what they were doing was wrong as they didn’t even report on what they actually administered to the players.
Why would you do that if you had nothing to worry about?
WADA handed out the suspensions and the AFL had to hand out sanctions over integrity of the competition.
Everyone affiliated with that club is delusional.

I reckon we are going to have to play off against Freo, Sydney and Carlton then. Those should be the really important matches. Win all of those and we might be setting up top 4. I don't trust any of them, at this stage top 4 should come from Melbourne, Freo, Geelong, St Kilda or Carlton.

I think right now we are around the same level as all of them. Melbourne need to get back on their bike or they could legit drop out of the 4. Freo look great against the best but can drop dumb matches. Carlton are Carlton, Geelong are old and average.

I don't think any are great to be honest but Geelong are in a box seat to make it and drop straight out in finals again.

Winning even the shit games is actually very good for us. Those easy ones were often our downfall. I have this horrible feeling that Port in Cairns might cost us top 4.

Beaten by battlers GC & Pies to beating top 2 teams the Dees & Brisbane. Just shows how good a coach Longmuir is to turn them around. Looks like an excellent coach.

He seems like some sort of coach. To me their list looks very average, but they're winning somehow

Winning even the shit games is actually very good for us. Those easy ones were often our downfall. I have this horrible feeling that Port in Cairns might cost us top 4.

Time for the club to step up in the last 11 games , the Lions game at the Gabba is one of biggest games of the year - seems like I say that every game - but beat them and the Bombers the following week and we should see a few teams falling out for the race for the top 4.

I'd agree with this. It sucks we didn't cop Sydney before they found form again. In general I'd say we're gonna be extremely pushed to make top 4. However all we can do is keep winning!

The only apology the league owes anyone is to the other 17 clubs, for allowing a club which won a spoon due to its own infractions to remain in the draft, and to have a No.1 pick based on that tainted spoon (frankly, they don't even deserve to be considered a spoon "winner", in my book)
