Look at his lower back curve (lordosis). He has a big anterior pelvic tilt, possibly even a slippage forward of L5 (spondylolisthesis) that makes his gut stick out more than it otherwise would.

I hope we are working with him to reduce his pelvic tilt as it would make him more powerful and durable.
