Not that he’s been bad but Wilmott has probably been a bit disappointing so far, has made a couple really bad kicking errors over the first couple weeks. Still like the way he gets involved and takes the game on though.

Yeah, that's true - I've loved his defensive work particularly though. Can forgive a couple of wayward kicks for that.

Tunstill really does have the knack of getting to the right spots to hit the scoreboard.

Early days, but I reckon Tunstill might be the JL replacement we'll be looking for in the next couple of years. Ashcroft can then slot in as the Neale replacement.

I think a few have gone past Smith but I will say I've liked his kicking into an in the forward line today. Has been clever with the options he's picked.

Hes a workhorse player not a flashy one, hes not going to wow enough to force his way in but he could be serviceable as a midfield bull as he gets a bit older.

I’m just not sure what he does well enough at this stage, not sure if he’s clean enough to be a good inside mid, doesn’t have the skills to be a good outside mid. I don’t think he’s physical enough to even have a career like Matho’s.

He would have seen with pride plenty of talent coming through. There's Lohman.Prior, Dev, Tunstil, Berry Jnr etc... etc... and said to himself. I contributed gathering that talent.

Someone should tell him he can have Ely Smith back with him, if he ever wanted to search our club for talent over at North Melbourne.

Definitely was the worst draft selection we made under the Fages/Nobes era as such, but still a massive thanks to David Noble for helping our club from ground zero to premiership contention in less than 5 years and if the coaching role doesn't work out for you over at North Melbourne, we will happily take you as the next CEO at our football club.
