Agree on Payne, Dev and Wilmot. Would like to see more from Sharp at this stage though, he's a lot further along than expected at this stage but I don't think he's been having a huge impact in the reserves games I've seen, looks like he's still figuring out how to use his running ability to his advantage. When I watch our reserves I see all 4 of Payne, Dev, Sharp and Wilmot being regulars in our senior team one day.
Just adding that I think it's taken Blake Coleman time to get up to the fitness level required even for AFL and there's still some hope he could get better quickly when he does.
Re Tommy if you're going after the hard ball and taking a couple of blokes on all the time it's often difficult to have clean disposal when you get it. He's fine most of the time.
I'm happy if either he or Dev get a shot.
Team at the bottom of article. Imagine every draft dork in the country will be watching, so that should swell the viewership by 15 or 20.
VFL Match Preview: Round 6
Mitch Robinson will return from injury through the VFL this weekend.www.lions.com.au
25 tops.
McFadyen listed in the backs and I think he played some game time there last week. An example of what I mentioned last week about the result for the reserves not as important as player development. IF McStay signs with another club, ressie coach should give Payne a run in the forwards. He played a few match sims there in the preseason and was picked as a forward for his brief appearance in last years semi, so maybe there is something to work with.
Also with the 1's playing West Coast next week, would like to see the coaches back in Prior or Dev over Mitch in what appears to be a potential 100 point win.
Yes it appears so, not a good sign when Lohmann debut in front of him.Last chance saloon for McFadyen
APS games are on a Saturday though?Seriously, I expect very few draft watchers will be watching. Most will be going to watch the Vic private schools this weekend.
Fair on form alone Lohmann had better VFL games.Yes it appears so, not a good sign when Lohmann debut in front of him.
His skills have been deplorable so far this year. Some absolutely shocking kicks.Fair on form alone Lohmann had better VFL games.
Yes was hoping like many here McFadyen come along. Although knees never help players
I think Kayo has the games right? But it’s definitely on the AFL AppSo any way of streaming VFL on a TV yet or is via AFL.com + the app the only ways?
Not on Kayo unfortunatelyI think Kayo has the games right? But it’s definitely on the AFL App
Why do they not put it on YouTube? Its so dum only being able to watch your shitty phone tthe size of an Uno card.
I regularly watch on my smart tv. Most of them have a web browser which you can use to navigate to afl.com.au and watch the game that way. It's ridiculous. In this day and age to not at least have a way of watching on a smart TV is a joke. And no, using a HDMI cable is not a valid way of watching on a TV.
