Can't decide between BSmith and Petracca. I know the expectation is Petracca is a clear top 8 mid, and likely avg more than Smith. But no one seems to be mentioning the fact he's managing the knee whatsoever. Feels riskier than people are letting on. I'm 2k short of getting Brayshaw, and next week I'm locked into getting Oliver to complete my midfield, so it's only gonna be one of the two.

Already have Macrae, Steele, Touk, Neale, Cripps, Green.

Crazy people are finishing their midfield already.

If I go Bailey Smith this week I will have 7 mid premos. Getting Oliver next week who I think should be must have means mids done, so wouldn't be any space unless someone gets injured.

Or they get DPP.

I prob had too many cans and fooked up my math on getting Steele .

That's a fail ...

Gets see where the chips fall after this weekend.....
Maybe have to settle for Zac Dawson...

All this talk about Petracca, Smith etc but how about Mills? I have 1,162m for to mids this week and he’s definitely got my attention. Is there any reason why his scoring varies so much?

Bloke scored 140 from 15 CBAs, that's basically his floor on CBAs aswell, and last week 20 CBAs he had 7 centre clearances and scored 120 in a 70 point loss LOL.

Yeah all good but will Tich play midfield all year?

The article posted on here states otherwise according to Sam Mitchell.

Yes.. He's mentioned that Titch won't play midfield all the time like he has so far this year (he's dropped at a low of 12 CBAs against Carlton) 3 more than that is his next lowest and he scored 140. He doesn't need midfield time all the time to score well. He finds the footy.

The first few games I am wondering if Sammy eased Tich into it by playing him forward due to recovering from his groin injury.

What do you think?

Absolutely.

It's doing my head in with deciding between Laird and Tich as a premo mid to bring in this week.

Both have a record of being ultra consistent but Tich is $61k cheaper and that cash could come in handy for future upgrades.

Titch, Laird is good but he's not "That" good.

But i mean you could look at Tracca. Or Clarry next week.

I’d be all over mills if he hadn’t been dealing with that Achilles tendinopathy last year and during the preseason, although he could be over it now, hard to tell. Id say his scoring is usually pretty consistent as he’s our no.1 mid unless our mids get killed in the center like the bulldogs game
