But because of the picks teams never offer deals to players with a tag placed on them.

Adams will sign a new deal before camp. he has apparently said because he grew up with nothing he isnt going to piss money away on paying fines for not showing up to camp.

I think its more an indication of the Packers doing the right thing by Adams, once they couldn't reach an agreement they could have held him hostage and waited for him to bend. He deserved to be the top paid WR in the NFL and they couldn't give it to him.

If the Packers dont pick a WR in the first round this year Rodgers head will explode.

I dont think the Packers will look to find their answer in FA.

Maybe they have a trade of their own lined up for a vet, maybe they go WR x 2 in the first two rounds in the draft. Its a decent receiver class.
