Think this is me done lads/ladettes - might downgrade one of the exxy rookies if a better option becomes available, however I feel safer knowing* they’re playing for now.

I've got 4 teams I'm happy with, all dependant on which cheap rookies are selected in rd1 (and whether I want to pick Hinge or not).
There's also a couple of premo selections I'm tossing up on.
I want to hold as much cash in the bank as possible, as I fully intend on dropping a trade boost for 3 "cash cow correction trades" in rd3.










It's essentially:

1) Lloyd + Crisp + McEntee + Rachele + Dixon + $144k bank

2) Crisp + Skinner + Touk + Rachele + Dixon + $53k bank

3) Dale + Skinner + McEntee + De Goey + Heeney + $29k bank

4) Hinge + Skinner + Touk + Heeney + Xerri + $68k bank

thanks man. I m still a little worried Im light on with SP midfielders. Biggest problem this year is theres too many decent circa 200k midfielders and not enough rookie defenders

Going to be all about cash gen early, particularly now we have 35 trades

Late in the weekend captains are rare this year.
Touk would give you a bit of that.
He also will always be the only captain option from the GC IMO.
Oliver clashes with Gawn and Petracca every week.

Touk looks capable of being number 1 SP this season. Clarry is great but he can put in the odd stinker - he'll be a good upgrade target.

Unless McCartin and SDK are not named may go with this. Bench rookies to be adjusted.

Putting a lot of faith in Tim English this year. From round 2, with Preuss back this team could score well.

This. Not having Clarry is scary because he can drop a 200 in any given game.

31 Brownlow votes last year, only 24 years old and finally had a full pre season. Said he’s the fittest he’s ever been as well which is frightening

Not much but does the extra cash from Oliver allow you a better rookie? If you really can’t split them I’d probably look at the bye situation.
I’ve gone Steele over Oliver just because not having Steele last year annoyed me, Oliver can drop an average score from time to time although he has the bigger ceiling, there’s no one at Saints to really steal points from him.

nice side. I m one of the few who really likes the Tarantula at that price, just couldnt squeeze him in.
