Reserving the right to re-install SPS in my squad, but for now, I've caved to peer pressure.

The difference in price between him and Kiddy allows for a better class of rookie (Kemp and Sinn).

It's crazy how many relevant DEF/FWD players there are for next year. It's gonna be really handy.

Like it, although I assume you're joking with Milera. Him down to a rookie and Rioli up to a premo?

What's the plan if no Preuss? Cause I reckon you'll need a plan B there. GWS swapped their rucks a lot last season, so unless Preuss is a clear number one for them he's a big risk of getting "rested" even if he plays round one.

It could be that they swapped their rucks a lot because Preuss wasn't available.

The consensus on their board seems to be that Preuss will be the No 1, Flynn will be a KPF and 2nd ruck, and Briggs will be working on a few aspects of his game.

If I chickened out of Preuss, it would be back to Grundy, and I'd go Titch to Fin Macrae in the mids.

I reckon Titch and Grundy will score roughly similarly.

Who's going to score better out of FinMac and Preuss?

That was my thinking when I installed Preuss at R2.

If he gets injured then I'll have to make two trades and that will suck (unless Hayes is knocking up tons, which would be awesome for all, obviously), but there'll probably be another problem I can solve at the time in the process.

And you've gotta risk it if you want the biscuit

Your midfield is awesome, but N Daicos is wasted on the bench, and then you need to find six scoring rookies across defence and forwards. If you want to try your luck with midfield midpricers like Berry and Constable then I'd go with one less premo mid and beef up your backs and forwards a bit

As someone who frequents the GWS board, I can tell you there is absolutely NOT consensus when it comes to our rucks. None at all.

If you take a look at our best 22 thread you'll see a lot of differing opinions. I personally have Preuss as our number 1 ruck, but I'm pretty sure more people have Briggs in that spot. Honestly it's pretty much a coin toss at this point, could go either way. That's why I'm not making any teams with Preuss in them until we know more. And even then I'd be very hesitant because well... Leon. I can even see a scenario where we go back and forth between the two like we did with Mumford and Flynn last season.

So yeah, the situation with our rucks is about as far from clear as possible.

Flynn is clearly your #1 Ruck ......he's got talent Preuss only dreams of ....Preuss is destined to always be the bridesmaid

I have taken a look at your best 22 thread and all of the folk that sounded like they knew what they were talking about had Preuss as the clear No 1 ruck

Preuss has played 18 games in 5 years of AFL min (not sure when he was drafted) .......67 was his best ave

Now call me "Mr Stick in The Mud" ......but I'm not having him anywhere near my SC side

I've never been more serious about Milera in my life :padlock:

That's cool, I personally don't think there's a better way to spend 204k in the whole game and that includes Nicky D.

One of the best things about this game is that there are so many ways to skin the cat

Lot of folks on their board have him coming back through the twos early in the year, so that decision might be made easy for you
Milera won't play in the two's .....wouldn't believe too much about what the ADEL board says ......very few knowledgable posters, mainly supporters

Milera has an elite kick and ability to break a game open ......exactly what Nicks wants ....only ????is fitness after 18 months out .....but expect a HB role

I will start him if he plays R1. There is some method to my madness if you have a look at that team I have 7 Defenders with Whitfield in the Mids. Depending on what happens he could be a keeper or a bomb but it would be easy enough to trade him to a Mid or Fwd by swinging Whitfield back.

100% agree with the N Daicos wasted on the bench. Most likely trade Constable out, Move N Daicos to on field and bring in Cogs up FWD. All other rookies besides JHF are place holders at this stage.

Personally I don't think Leon Cameron rates Flynn in the ruck and the stats can back that up. From the 12 games Flynn played they only won 3 games 25%. Mummy played 14 games and they won 9 games 65%. Preuss will be the No1 Ruck if fit.

In this case Stats lie .....he was just average starting off .....but as each game went by, Flynn got better ....by his last 4 games he was preferred over Mummy

The stats don't show much one way or the other ....however that was my observation watching the games
