Good god Durdin has cooked any momentum for us in the last 10-15 minutes.
We lose by 3.
Huge comeback but couldn’t complete it.
Probably didn’t deserve to win in the end.
Mirkov kept us in the game in the last. Dow was huge as well. And Carroll has a big last quarter.
Also very impressed by Lieu.

That was from a PM that was sent to me. Perhaps what Pitto wants and what the team wants are two different things when it comes to injury management or perhaps he hasn't come on as fast as he thought when he started running. It was apparently all about a conditioning block.

Not overly disappointed about the loss given we were short 2-3 due to the league side playing in Perth, but my thoughts are as follows:
- Mirkov is improving and I look forward to the day he has the tank to be an option at AFL level
- Dow looks so likely when he’s at a stoppage but still can’t find the ball enough in open play
- it was great to see Ed back out there playing
- Stocker’s attack on the ball was outstanding and I’d really like to see him given a chance in the midfield next year
- Carroll is still a work in progress with his best and worst still a fair way apart
- Fogarty is a midfielder of VFL quality only and I can’t help but think we have wasted a list spot for 2 years on him, indeed IMO we’d be better off having Cahill on the list as another genuine small forward option
- I reckon I could see Leiu and Cincotta (and possibly Radovanovic) playing AFL football so hopefully we are thinking about them as possible replacements for Williamson and possibly Parkes
- I don’t see either Glass-McCasker or Lewis making the grade at AFL level
- Durdin looked better when he played against the Tigers but I think I’d like to see him stick around for at least next year given our lack of ready made key position players
- Akuei is a long term project but anything is possible as CJ from Hawthorn has show
- Josh Cripps is not even VFL standard

Leiu is the perfect Williamson replacement.
The Good
The Bad
Only player I would consider for promotion off that game would be Stocker.
- Stocker was really solid. A bit less clean then usual but better intensity defensively.
- Ed Curnow was good from limited minutes in his first game back. Can tell he is to good for the level
- Durdin did his job. Ball use quite good and looks a top KPD at VFL level.
The Bad
- Our midfield. We had 4-5 afl listed guys rolling through there and got beaten to often.
- Jack Carroll's form. Has been poor for a while. Don't know what's happened.
Only player I would consider for promotion off that game would be Stocker.

No idea. It wasn't my source. I just posted what I was given.
When I looked at injury list, he was listed 2 or 3 weeks away and when I looked it was sometime in last six or so days.
No drugs for me, fortunately...
I love my oxygen in abundance, I will admit.
Reckon he is cooked, had a huge pre season and start to the year.
Another pre season should see him run ontop of the grass longer into the season proper.

I was quite confident the Geelong trading curse would finally be lifted with Fog but just hasn’t shown much worth persisting with at VFL level. I think it’s time to block their number during trade week.
I know Akeui is a free hit on the list but geez he seems miles off the level.
Lieu looks great for someone that’s missed so much of the season. Worth at least another shot as a train on player this off season.

Stocker ended up with 30 disposals, did he spend time in the midfield?
He lost several marking contests early against Archi Manton (who looked pretty lively) and Gasper, so I'm not sure whether he moved out of defence or just improved.
