Yeah once a line looks weak it's generally the wrong approach to try buy your way out of the problem. Generally the opposite is correct.....

If you still have an R2 that hasn't played yet and you have Hayes as emergency I would go all the way down to Preuss and use the cash to upgrade another line.

I'm seriously considering this. Wanted Preuss, settled for Draper. Think I'll go back to Preuss.

Was going to loop Crae’s VC, but I’ve been seduced the the allure of 30 green dots so I’ll roll with somebody else as C instead… and lucky too because if I’d deliberately picked a red dot it probably would have been at the expense of Hayes

Was tongue in cheek but he did seem puzzled when they asked him what happens when Ryder is back. All I know is Hayes plays regardless of what else happens

Glad I held over my captaincy to Touk though who hopefully picks up the slack for Gawn, Grundy
and Short.
