I liked what I saw of Taylor but looks more if the same to me. I do struggle with SANFL telecast as it tends to make everyone look slow and average. But I didn’t see anything particularly precise or inventive about his use by foot and that’s what our midfield group is crying out for.
He was considered one of if not the best kick of the draft. He has the Dawson thing where his kicking efficiency doesn't seem super high because he bites off a lot of high risk, difficult kicks.

If I had the talent, and had access to 1970crow skam85 Mr_Moogle Slippery Pete George Kramer's profile pics of their actual selves, i'd love to make a meme of 'The Usual Suspects', you know the police photo lineup one?

George Kramer would 100% be Keyser Soze leading these other blokes down a path of mysterious (confusing?) posts, odd interpretations, and ill-timed 'likes', only for them to discover he is in fact a Port Adelaide supporter that just been encouraging a constant and never-ending negative echo chamber with 'vulnerable' Crows Big Footy posters.

It is only then that they see his genius.

Do you have someone close to you that is cool and with a brain that you could run your posts by first?

Zac Taylor is an elite kick and thinking anything else is just straight up delusional.
Elite…………… Nah, Nathan Buckley, Darren Jarman, Simon Black are elite, he’s not in their class elite, it’s loopy got plenty of air time, watch your video post, Pedlars goal and Taylor’s kicking tell me who’s is loopy

Two things I like about Taylor that don't occur in the rest of our midfield: (1) he actually runs and breaks away from the centre bounces; (2) having done that, he is a very, very good and deliberate running long shot for goal.

How many targets did he miss and how many disadvantaged the player he was delivering to.

as long as my chocolate star fish points to the ground you won’t convince me he’s elite kick, one was good body work from McAsey, one a high long bomb to a pack that went over the back, really

He is the best user by hand and foot by a fair margin over all our current midfield roster.....

He has excellent disposal.....you'll come around eventually.

Cal Twomey's predraft bio.

25. Zac Taylor

Midfielder // 180cm/74kg // 31/1/03 // Calder Cannons/Vic Metro

A sharp user of the footy, Taylor's trick is his kicking. He rarely wastes a touch and can be relied upon to hit a target and set up the play. The Cannons midfielder averaged 26 disposals in the NAB League this season, with a 37-disposal and 11-clearance game a standout. Although not big, he can make his disposals hurt and is also crafty around goal when an opportunity arises.

So now it’s gone from elite to excellent, won’t be long before you come around to good disposal as it is

Elite, excellent, top level call it what you want Zac Taylor has high class disposal both by hand and foot.

I agree ....there's nothing to suggest Taylor's an elite kick .....lets judge him after he's played in some high pressured AFL games

The word "elite" is so overused ......similar to young players being referred to as "star" players in their 1st season

Not saying that Taylor is an "elite" kick - I'll settle for "very good" but the thing is, not every "very good" or even "excellent" kick has to be a dart. A "loopy" kick that's loopy because it's getting over traffic, and is well-directed to the advantage of a forward / to a "hot spot" is a very good to excellent kick. IMO.

It's the Laird brand of loopy kicks you want to avoid. The ones where he just blindly kicks it forward to the advantage of nobody.
Forward is better than the ones which go straight up...

Now we are getting close, having the ability to do both
