Yes there can only be one loser in this, they lose a club champion for nothing and we get to keep our picks, or they accept that stonewalling has left them poorer.

Clubs pull contracts off the table for players all the time and yet we can't move on from rejected offers?

If my maths is right, Dom Ambrogio and co have turned pick 15, pick 46 and Tom Berry into picks 21, 36, 38, 48, 55, 56 and Geelong's future second and fourth.

Which equates to gaining 1105 points (~pick 16), not including the two additional picks for next year.

Your calculation is either correct or if not pretty close
I could not bother with the math just cheated using the Lore spreadsheet
No matter which way we look at it the result is great
Now just need to get Dunkley

Gunston will be a late pick i recon 60's so, 55+73 (216 points) and get back Hawks 65 (90 points) = 126 points or pick 62

@ october 4th we had 1983 points
@ October 7th we have 3621 points
So, a gain of 1638 Less McStay compensation (35) of 502 points = 1136

Thanks for that! The discrepancy makes sense because a couple of picks would've been pushed due to compensation picks.

25 was a decent pick and could have been used for Dunkley. We would not have traded that out if it did more damage on Dunkley trade. Interesting to see where this is heading.

Browne still has me confounded with his stunning reporting on Petracca's cracked fibula, one of the two legs on his lower leg.

25 is only a decent pick, if the kids projected around that point in the draft are considered decent.

Not looking for an in depth look at the actual value of said pick in this draft. Just that in general, pick 25 is an early-ish 2nd round pick, so holds decent value. We wouldn't trade it out unless it was for net gain for us overall. Which i think we can now say it has been.
