Yep. Another was suggesting Dunkley might backflip on his request to leave as he has seen how poorly we have treated the poor bulldogs and Sam Power through this ordeal. Wacky stuff

Also worst case . I highly doubt if Dunkley says he wants to live in Brisbane and is moving there for certain lifestyle changes . Then no club is gonna pick him up in the draft or pre season draft ( even north ) . Also doesn’t Dunkley have to agree to the deal ? Other then when Nick Stevens got taken by blues name me another player who was taken in PSD by a club when they wanted to live in another state . Just doesn’t happen. Half of me almost wants us to get dunk in pre season for shi$&s and giggles

My favourite is not only do they want to let Dunkley go for nothing (because that will really SHOW EM’), but in addition, the want to nominate Fletcher with their highest pick (AKA throw out their entire draft strategy out the window) to force us to pay more you’d think we had actually done something wrong by them, as opposed to just engaging in the usual first week of trade period posturing.

I agree with this 100%. I strongly doubt any club will pick him againts his will. Why would they want a highly paid player who will arrive and be plotting their move to Brisbane from the get go? Dogs can let him go to the PSD and what’s the bet he ends up with us anyway…… for free! That’ll show em’

Future 1st and pick 21 deal will get done. The clock is against the Bulldogs, if they want to get Lobb from Freo, they need that pick 21. Freo needs pick 21 for the Jackson deal. Melbourne need pick 21 for Grundy deal. These could have a huge domino effect.

To see their reaction and the likes of Johnson have such deep, irrational melt downs over it though, there’s some sort of collective ego/psyche that’s been triggered.
