Hopefully, just worry about his kicking but if he’s a contested beast and tackler then doesn’t matter too much
His kicking isn’t great but it’s effective when it needs to be imo, not too dissimilar to Neale’s, Lachie isn’t too bad over 25-35m but anything over that he’s got quite a loopy kick.

"Elite" is one of those bullshit phrases that gets thrown around too easily. A bit like "gun" (apologies to PattyKwasagun , DevRoboGun and others) is thrown around a bit too cavalier to have any real meaning. To me, one All-Australian squad (!) berth does not suggest "elite" to me. Don't get me wrong, I'm rapt we're getting him onboard, but if I'm making a list a la Sheahan or Robbo, I'm probably choosing at least another 30 players I'd rank above him.
He would be the fourth or fifth most valuable midfield player for the 8th placed team this year.

No way would any Bulldogs fan opt to trade Bont, Macrae or Smith instead of him. Next up would then be Libba and Treloar. I like Libba better onball but given the age difference I accept that Dunkley is probably more valuable.

He is a good player but he is not elite or a star of the competition. I think there are too many DT/SC players on here.

Sir, this is the Trade and FA thread. Your common sense has no place here.

To be fair, the dogs are stacked for midfield depth. Wouldn’t be the 4th best midfielder in any other team in the comp imo.

Sam Power might want to get a move on before pick 21 gets moved down the order :tearsofjoy:

Though I think the AFL has allocated us as one of the Wednesday night prime time trades.

Now someone on the Dogs board is spewing up saying "they got Marcus Adams from us on the cheap".
Yes that's right, because you couldn't get his body fixed!!

What are they talking about. From memory Adams was pick 32 plus something and he had barely played for 2 years?

to think there was once a time when depending on who you asked, either jason akermanis or simon black was our 4th best midfielder.

Luke Jackson deal imminent according to Trade Radio. They hope this will move other deals along 🤞🏻

To think they initially rejected our 15 and future first because they value their late second rounders is laughable. They deserve what they get. I’ve said all along that second round picks, especially mid to late, aren’t worth a pinch. Best currency is always first rounders. Everything else is trash unless your matching bids.

Bonner is far too soft. Poor man’s Jared Polec
NB that is the most cutting post you have ever put up, maybe the most cutting post ever.

I would die laughing if it went up on the North threads where they all cannot stand Polec.

Oooohhh Dockers have 44 and 67 now..

Time to link Lobb trade to Dunkley
