We should know that draft picks are never guaranteed great players.
When they don't pan out, move them on and get their salary off the books.

I’m not so much annoyed that we got rid of Hollands, but more so the fact that this is 5 years in a row now we have kicked a former top 10 pick out of the club for next to nothing (plus Jeremy Sharp who we trade up for), and no changes have been made to our list and recruiting team. A lot does fall back on Dew, sure, but 5 top 10 failures in 5 years is surely a sign that there is a problem between our list team and coaching team?

IMO it's very unlikely in 2025 we're able to take 3 in the first round anyway. Will just have to make sure it's the right one.

Agree on this. It’s all big picture stuff and I can live with most of it. The problem is we are always talking big picture “judge us on next year’s trade period” and never bringing in the small pieces to provide legit hope of a burst.

I have some hopes for Jeffrey, Rosas and Budders. Maybe Farrar if we want to play (hopefully) faster.

Not an A grade player in their prime in over a decade has joined us, or been linked to us. Not even a whisper of a player besides Dusty pipe dream. Not even a “we are interested”, oh well. Maybe next time.

Plenty of trade capital to work with, given it looks like only Lombard to match a bid on.

Two first's and pick 20 is enough to get any player that Dimma can get interested.

As we keep saying, improvement on the field is the key thing.
