I'm pretty sure we'd happily trade pick 5 for Dunkley and finding a way to securing a future pick as well would make that trade even more enticing for us. We're going to have the salary cap room for Dunkley and we're going to have a pick that the Bulldogs would want as fair compensation for him. The only sticking point would be convincing Josh to join us instead of our neighbours located 100km up the road.We’ll get to work guys

I'd be surprised if we had't at least asked the question and even if we hadn't, I'd be even more shocked if the Bulldogs haven't given us a call after their difficult negotiations with Brisbane. It's in the Bulldogs' best interests to begin talking with us about a more equitable deal to send Dunkley to Queensland.

The dockers have players nominate them consistently now and no club has helped them build their list more than the Suns. Hold out for Nths future 2nd or tell them to **** off

I believe the club wants to keep him but Jeremy wants to go home. If it was completely up the club he wouldn't be going anywhere.

Did Peter Wright propell Essendon into finals, no. Peter had his best season and Essendon won 7 games.
Will Brodie had his best season and everyone says he had a great season. Didn't even finish top 10 in the bnf so the coaches clearly didn't agree with that.
Bowes may go on to play great footy at Geelong, the problem is that he doesn't want to play Half back at the Suns and we don't have a spot for him to play full time in the midfield.

Yeah, I used to like the Mongrel punt as I felt they were more balanced in regards to the Suns, which very few media outlets were. I also liked their more numerous tone.
It’s been a while since I felt that. Even some of the game reviews were getting over-the-top critical of certain players. Maybe it’s just particular writers, as they rotate. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.
I can’t be bother re-hashing all the reasons I agree or disagree with the article. I do understand why they are ranting, but it offers very little nuance to the debate.
