It depends on what's happening with Tsitas and Constable and if our list concessions stayed the same as last year. No official Suns info. There were foxsports reports that both Constable and Ttitas were on 1 year contract, but recently Constable was reported under contract.

Moyle is another interesting case. Was he promoted to senior list or will he be promoted to satisfy 3 spots senior list upgrade?

Let's say Constable and Tsitas end up on rookie list and Moyle will be promoted to senior list.

Senior list - max 38. Currently 35. Pick 5, 45 and Moyle promoted ->38?
Rookie A - max 9. Tsitas, Constable, Uwland, Brock, Faulkhead, Casboult. 3 spots available ->academy Johnston? Blakey? Jed Anderson? Poulter? one more academy kid?
Rookie B - max 2. Ace. 1 spot available.
The HS screenshot i put up mentioned that Constable was closing in on an agreement. No word about Tsitas but he wasn't on the list of OOC, or on footywire.

All roads seem to be leading to ginbey and I'm pretty happy with that. He gives me a bit of luke hodge vibes. Could see him starting at half back and being another option in the midfield as the season progresses. Pretty well developed already and with a pre season could be ready round 1.

Ginbey and Uwland as Luke Hodge Clones nice!

Unless we have delisted free agents in mind.
Delist Oleg Markov so we can sign Jed Anderson as a DFA? I'm guessing you need a senior list spot open to sign a DFA.

I'm only guessing here but could it be that Markov can't commit 100% right now. His family are originally from Belarus which is involved in the Ukraine/Russia problem, and his form in 2022 dropped right off after this situation began in Feb. If your heart and head are somewhere else....
As I said, just guessing...
Saw him last week walking by the beach on his own at night...

I remember there was an article on the AFL website earlier this year where he talked about battling demons and using the club's psychologists so who really knows what's going on but I'd say you're probably right in saying footy likely isn't his highest priority at the moment. Hopefully he can find some peace and stays on the Gold Coast for our amazing lifestyle but I also wouldn't be surprised to see him return home to South Australia. Perhaps the best thing for him from here if he wants to stay involved in footy would be to sign for the Southport Sharks?

A lot of assumptions being thrown around. Probably unnecessary to speculate on these things.

Played 28 games for the suns to bring his tally to 51.

Ultimately don’t reckon coaches felt they could trust him coming out of the back half. The Collingwood game was a shocker with the number of costly turnovers.

Wish him the best for next phase of life.

Supposably WC are keen to do a pick swap.
Im guessing to get ahead of us for Ginbey.

Something like GC 5 for WC 8 and future second.

Dont mind it considering Sheezle Wardlaw and Tsatas practically unavailable to us anyhow.

Still get Phillipou or McKenzie making it to pick 8… or even go for Hollands.
very little downside..

Not confirmed

Not interested, last time we did this we lost Clayton Oliver.

Wonder what Ginbeys go home factor will be, Hollands is just so safe in that area
Sliding back for 2023 points and taking Hollands is such an obvious move. IMO Wardlaw is the only one worth chasing, everything else is "the best of a bad bunch".

As you say no go home factor (not to mention making it far less likely Elijah's head gets turned), super fit, sounds like he will be a good pro.

Everyone has PTSD due to not getting Oliver, but at some point you've got to move on.

Rookie at best. Surely. Otherwise:

1 year contract on the bare minimum and I think he’s actually a good pick up. If he actually gets on the park, he’ll give us more than Fiorini

Surely he wouldn't move his whole family for that sort of deal, though? Not arguing btw, but if he's considering something it's got to be more than one year you'd think.

Very cheap and need to have some sort of confidence he has turned the corner with his injuries. At his best absolute star and could be a master-stroke. Maybe it will include a coaching role?
As for wc pick swap, not fussed either way. Ginbey has really grown on me but hollands will also be very good and elijah is gonna be so good we have to do everything we can to keep him. If bringing his brother in helps then that's what we should do.
