I agree with that. All it needed from us in the last was some heart. They left it way open for us. I didn't see too many attempts to win the game.

And Matt Crouch way better than the rest of the mids Hately, Berry, Schoenberg, Brown....

Midfield depth starting to be concerning. Hately, Brown are shit. Crouch has lost some pace and is done. Shoenberg, Berry gone backwards/stagnated. I would play Dowling and Taylor when fit ahead of all of them.

Are we seeing what happens when you don't make any changes to the AFL Side? When players get a free pass and there isn't selection integrity?

Meh, we used to lose to top SANFL sides when we had mature AFL players against them, with a bunch of kids and having more top ups, I'm not too bothered. Keeps us down from the top of the ladder and out of the SANFL's sights as well.
Worrell the most likely from that lot. Crouch, Hately, Cook, Berry and Shoenberg all had their moments. Borlase was pretty good until late in the game.

Yeah if Hately, Brown, Shoenberg, Crouch and Strachan (for 3q) can't beat a sanfl side most of them should be shown the door.
But you have previously said our depth is better than Nicks thinks

Not after seeing today. We need to trade some players in.
Berry did quite a few excellent things which we've seen from him last year then let himself down with the final disposal and Nankervis is a midfielder.

If that's the way they think they don't deserve to be on an AFL list...the fact Hately and Schoenberg especially have never grasped their AFL chances is more about them not team selection.
I wouldn't go that far. Strachan comfortably won the hitouts and Doyle didn't have the around the ground game to be declared "BOG". That's your anti Strachan bias.
Having to put Berg in the ruck last quarter basically killed any chance.

Think we are being too cautious with Worrell, He was fantastic today, Should be playing AFL
Some depth is nice but ultimately I don't want to trade for players to play sanfl.
We need to continue drafting well to fill out the depth.
Since 2020 we've done well.
Thilthorpe, Pedlar, Berry (depth?), Parnell
Rachele, Soligo, Taylor, Nankervis
Michalanney, Dowling, Bond (?)
2023: ?? + Players in current 22 upgraded.

Club needs to make tough calls on some players end of the year. Why carry players that aren't gonna make it.

Our defenders literally played “chip it around” as if they were 5 goals up and defending the lead.

imagine being a forward trying to kick goals when all fxxkn game your team mates fluff around with it in defence and the half the time that they dont turn it over they finally kick it to you and the opposition has had a decade and a fcxkn half to flood back there..

Worrell went alright but chose the wrong option a few times.
borlase takes some good grabs but always looks sideways or backwards before anything.
and mcpherson is pointless and a complete liability to the team.. if he cant stay uninjured then dont even bother playing him ffs.. pay him out early and fill his spot in the mid season draft with someone who isnt made of cardboard and clagg fxxkn glue. How many times does he want to leave us a man down.
