We should have a pretty strong team. Crouch, Sloane, Hately, Himmelberg, Murphy, McHenry, Madgen, maybe Shane Edwards. That's a strong core, should be expecting finals especially with our depth of young players that will be eligible
I think we have a side capable of winning the flag

I think we have a side capable of winning the flag
The good thing is a few of our really good top up players from last years are still with us too..

it’s the shit top up players that can really restrict/remove our momentum during games and hand it straight to the opposition..

Anyone know where McKenzie is playing this year. He starred in one of the finals last season
With us. Article from AFC.com.au. Also seems to me Wright will play on.

“Jack Magden has come across from Collingwood and he’s going to be a real good inclusion for us and he can play down back or up forward, and it means we’ll have another leader out on the field,” Wright said.

“Blayne O'Loughlin comes across from North Adelaide and he’s got some real talent, so we are looking forward to seeing what he can add.

“We’ve brought in a few others as well - Hugh Haysman, he’s a West Adelaide premiership player, so he knows what it takes to win a SANFL flag.

“We’ve also been able to hang onto strong performing players from last season, like Jay Boyle, Josh Smithson, and Isaya McKenzie as well, which is really important because they know the program and they understand what it takes.”

Speaking to AFC Media, Wright said the heartbreaking defeat would only spur the side on, as players were hungry for success.

Thanks crow dude

If we stay fairly injury free. This side is a bit ridiculous for the SANFL comp. This is my side after the best 22 in the Crows

McPherson, Warrell, Michalanney
Parnell, Brown, Borlase

Strachan, Crouch, Hately
Jones, Taylor, Scholl

Dowling, Keays, Nankervis
Newchurch, Gollant, Murphy

Keane, Boyd, Cook (Where does this bloke fit?)

Dont forget Magden and probably Wright

Wright absolutely, the Captain. I forgot Cook as well. McHenry might also play reserves.

This team isn't fair to the SANFL imo. Actually I don't care. The AFL should have a national seconds. If it affects a Glenelg Premiership, then I'll care!

gives the legs some competition

Not quite SANFL, but sort of related. I believe those who do not make the 23 tomorrow against the Eagles will be playing afterwards. Does anyone have any further details regarding this and will it be streamed or able to be viewed at all? Thanks in anticipation.

I found this Shuey set for practice match regarding those who do not make the squad. I hope Kayo keeps filming:

"West Coast and Adelaide will play four quarters before a short break and three further periods of action involving a number of Eagles not selected in the 26-man squad.

The AFL has implemented heat mitigation measures, including quarter time and three-quarter time breaks extended from six minutes to eight minutes and an additional water carrier for both clubs.

The practice match will be broadcast on Fox Footy and streamed on Kayo, with bouncedown at 4.40pm."

That's 7.10pm SA time.
