I know that's the popular narrative but I can't for the life of me understand why they wouldn't care.

They aren't going to get selected for the AFL side playing like shite or even if they know they won't get selected either way, they aren't going to attract interest from rival clubs if they just play like shite.

To be fair Battersby has always seemed to have a vendetta against the Crows since his one and done year there as a rookie and seems to always go ballistic against them at this level.
