Same rule applies to this thread as other years, keep it on topic about the kids.
Don’t get bogged down on what other teams might do or where they will finish.

Trade speculation belongs here.

That's also where you can discuss your mock drafts or pick trades.

Any McCabe, Dear or Maginness talk belongs here.

Very smooth mover and super clean.

Probably pick 1 in most other drafts.

We'd probably have more use for him up forward, but could easily come into a club and do what Daicos and Sheezel have done for their sides across half back.

He could probably play that role for us right now. Insane talent. I hope we get him.

Looks a star but not sure he’d be pick 1 in any other recent draft given his height.

İt's still early days re - draft. More names will come up and players will improve closer to the end of the season. İt won't be just about Harley and Watson.

This bloke looks like he could bolt into top 5 calculations. Has AFL weapons

Based purely on this highlight reel compared to the one above for Watson, I’d be taking him first. Line breaker, over head marking, tackle breaking. Looks like an afl player.

He passes the eye test and he's got good numbers so far.

See first three games

How would you rank these forwards? And who would suit Hawthorn the most?
Ashton Moir
Nate Caddy
Archer Reid
Zane Duursma
Logan Morris

Tbf, I don't know much about the skill set or size of these frwds but the one that has high work rate, agility, and can properly play as a KPF. A Jezza type.
Don't want any beanpoles who are stand and deliver types in today's high intensity games or third tall types.

I think Archer Reid could complement Mitch Lewis nicely as from what I've read Reid has a good tank and can get up the ground providing options while Lewis can be our more old-fashioned pack crashing key forward. If we don't get Harley, I would love a world where we get Watson and A. Reid.

Morris is probably the closest to that style of forward. From the few jets games I've watched he really pushes up the ground, not sure of his height but think it's around 193cm. I think he'd compliment Lewis really well but more of a late first to second round pick.

Like the read of Ryan maric for MSD

#28 Ryan Maric (Gippsland Power)
06/09/2004 | 193cm | 84kg | Tall Forward

The midseason draft candidate has been one with plenty of eyes on him as we edge closer to the event, and recruiters wouldn’t have been disappointed with what they saw from the over-ager. Maric lead to good spots throughout the contest, managing to lose his opponent on the lead through pure work rate as he kept repeating leads when he wasn’t used. Maric finished the game with three majors, but set up a couple of others which he could have easily slotted himself, choosing to reward his teammates hard efforts where appropriate, and centre the ball rather than go for miracle shots from hard angles.
