Any info on who’s available and how they’re rated this year? We could really use some trademark Irish run & skillDogs will be interviewing the Irish prospects during the combine

With Lual would he project to be a Quaynor type at the level? We could definitely use that going forward as Doc isn't getting any youngerThese are just my personal opinions.
I'm very big on Watson although he is small he is the perfect modern day half forward. He can kick a mercurial goal, has plenty of x-factor, he is the guy you want kicking into you if you're a key forward and has speed.
Murphy like Croft has just been a victim of others rising.
Tholstrup has alot to like but also has big deficiencies, I'm just not sure where he fits in at the top level.
Lual is someone I've been big on all year Wether it's a more negating role or rebounding he has weapons in defence, but can also play on a wing and be damaging with his intercepting when dropping behind play or using his burst to surge the ball forward.
Other then Watson the one I'm biggest on this year and will claim as mine if we draft him is Leake. He has shown he can be a threat up forward, has preformed well in the middle with clean clearances and in what I think is his prefered position intercept mark and compete in defence.
In defence, absolutely. I also rate him as a wingman but others on here disagree. With Lual would he project to be a Quaynor type at the level? We could definitely use that going forward as Doc isn't getting any younger
Looking at McKercher's highlights, he walks into our midfield for his kicking alone. Watson is also a wonderful finisher around goals and his positioning is fantastic. I'm not advocating this but if Hawthorn would give us their Pick 3/4 for Bailey Smithwould we entertain trading him to get both McKercher and Watson assuming we get Gold Coast's pick as well? Completely left field hypothetical but I personally like it.PLAYERCARDSTART6Bailey Smith

Duursma's highlights are up. Not sure why all his highlights are of him in the forward marking and kicking goals. If that's where his best is then Hawks can have him.
He’s a forward. I don’t want him even if he fell to 6.Duursma's highlights are up. Not sure why all his highlights are of him in the forward marking and kicking goals. If that's where his best is then Hawks can have him.
Yeah I realised after I posted. Not sure why I thought he was a mid. He’s a forward. I don’t want him even if he fell to 6.
He "may" become a mid.Yeah I realised after I posted. Not sure why I thought he was a mid.
I don’t reckon there’s any chance Curtin gets past both Eagles and North, so not a worry for us. Duursma is the only one I absolutely don’t wantThis is the risk with 4 (6). Duursma and Curtin are still good, but we want/need McKercher and Watson.
Saw a Roos fan mention North are not as big on Curtin as some say. And could go the McKercher and Watson double. Hawks apparently like Duursma, but have made it clear they need KPPs, so Curtin slipping might cause a rethink.I think McKercher Curtin & Duursma are all set to go before 4. The only hope McKercher slides is if North lose out on pick 3 but doubt that happens considering the what Jordan & Flynn got with their compo picks. Have to wait and see.

Another poster mentioned, think it was weltschmerz, that we could offer it/Curtin to WC for their F1 if that happened. Wouldn't be a bad outcome if they took it.If this were to happen (hoping not as I’m really set on Watson now) but you’d think West Coast would come with a huge offer for the pick.
So ends up as 10 + 17 for a swap of F1s with a team that beat us 2 games ago?Another poster mentioned, think it was weltschmerz, that we could offer it/Curtin to WC for their F1 if that happened. Wouldn't be a bad outcome if they took it.
Not ideal, but a decent back up plan if we were concerned with getting 'stuck' with Curtin. Risk involved but odds are we'd be getting pick 1-4.So ends up as 10 + 17 for a swap of F1s with a team that beat us 2 games ago?
Purely speculation but I think North end up with pick 1 and Eagles take CurtinSaw a Roos fan mention North are not as big on Curtin as some say. And could go the McKercher and Watson double. Are you suggesting Harley Reid and Jed Walter slip to 4 and 5? That would raise a few eyebrows.I think McKercher Curtin & Duursma are all set to go before 4.
