Do you mean the Dewie Stew who coached the Suns for 121 games with a record of 36 wins, 84 loses and a draw with his best finish being 12th IIRC?

It must have been real hard to remove that level of mediocrity.

It is not what was done but how it was done.

Joe Fonti rates a mention for us on Rookie Me.

It is interesting seeing all these late pick names, someone with promise will fall through to our pick.

I'm not that keen on medium half backs, feel like we are covered there. Even Patton, I get people rate him but he reads like another Pasini, who we flicked. Maybe we'll get him as cover for McCallum in case he goes to the Tassie team, but it's too early to tell. Having said that, Oscar Ryan has some appeal because it sounds like he can play hard-nosed defence as well as rebound.

Players like Freijah, Fonti, O'Leary could give us some running power in outside mid roles and ability to rest forward. That's where I would be looking, some extra height would be a bonus. Maybe Nick Williams could play wing? Sounds like he has good endurance. A really solid Kam McIntosh type would be a win with our late pick.

McAuliffe's highlights look impressive (and not all do), he was given a big rap by Tony Bamford, but he does tend towards hyperbole when it comes to local potential draftees.

And there are a couple of tall forwards around the place, they're always worth a look. Luke Lloyd sounds like a typical Port pick and we've been linked to Patrick Weckert.

I'm not sure about Vigo, it's a romantic notion to unite the brothers, but playing the same position and similar in age, will it work? Like the Maddens, I expect one would leave.

I've a suspicion Vigs ends up at GWS or Bombers. I don't believe he actually gets to us.

I expect he's pushed himself far enough up the order to be gone by our pick.

Beat me to it. He had his chance! He needed to learn from Hinks on how to beat up on the bottom 6

Also don't mind the look of Lachie Charleson if we go down the small forward path. Expected to be available at our pick.
