Wow, that grandstand on the right hand side at the North v GC match looks to be at about 5-10% capacity.

Hawthorn end up with 782,535 for the year. This is their 13th highest total and an increase of over 143k from last year.

Fremantle end up with 831,100. This is the highest total ever by a margin of 39,801. It's an increase of 126k from last year.

Despite having a spluttering and disappointing season that never really came to life, that's a fantastic result for Freo. Hopefully they maintain this as a standard and build it up even higher when they have successful years on field. They'll end up in a powerful position if they can do that.

Not entirely awful considering.it's a final round dead rubber, they're 16th and hosting a struggling Freo. Context wise they average 18902 hosting the Dockers (that would be including Launceston).
Hawthorn's average at the MCG since 2000 against Freo was 37,754, but that's only from 2 matches, one of which was the GF replay in 2014.

Brisbane finish on 669,664. This is their 4th biggest total ever and their best since 2005. It's an increase of 85k on last year. 7 of their 11 games at the Gabba were over 30k.

St Kilda finish on 745,770. This is their 12th highest total and an increase of over 150k on last year.

The AFL are must be too ashamed to post the pathetic Hobart crowd figure which looked like a local footy crowd lucky to be 3 - 4000 = good luck with having your own team!
ya know, it was bottom v 15th....

Reckon it was just above 4K-mid 4K

West Coast finish on 826,629. This is their 4th highest total of all time and an increase of 161k from last year.

Adelaide finish on 797,857. This is their 8th highest total and an increase of 175K from last year.

Poor home crowds combined with playing away games at backwater places. Disappointing numbers overall.

4,416 at Blundstone Arena yesterday for North v Gold Coast.
Apart from the Alice Springs match this is the lowest AFL crowd on a fine day anywhere for a very long time!
Don't forget this is the elite comp in the nation and you would like to think that Hobart people would show a bit more interest.

What worries me about the Tassie team coming in is that Australian Football in general in Tasmania has gone backwards in the last 25 years on all KPIs and that the public might not be as supportive as the State Govt and AFL thinks esp if their team is down the bottom for a number of seasons after they come into the AFL!

It was a dead rubber between the bottom team and a team with 200 supporters

Im not sure what you expected
