Alot of Hawthorn's home games would look better if played at Docklands.Doesn't look like it will get to 20K.

Or heaven for it, win a PremiershipWhich is why he said imagine they were a genuine top 4 team.
27,951 at the G.
Hawthorn's average at the MCG since 2000 against Freo was 37,754, but that's only from 2 matches, one of which was the GF replay in 2014.Not entirely awful considering.it's a final round dead rubber, they're 16th and hosting a struggling Freo. Context wise they average 18902 hosting the Dockers (that would be including Launceston).

The AFL are must be too ashamed to post the pathetic Hobart crowd figure which looked like a local footy crowd lucky to be 3 - 4000 = good luck with having your own team!Do we know what the Hobart crowd was?
ya know, it was bottom v 15th....The AFL are must be too ashamed to post the pathetic Hobart crowd figure which looked like a local footy crowd lucky to be 3 - 4000 = good luck with having your own team!

Yep it was 47,027.Think I heard 47,027 in Perth, not 100% confident.
Poor home crowds combined with playing away games at backwater places. Disappointing numbers overall.West Coast finish on 826,629. This is their 4th highest total of all time and an increase of 161k from last year.
Adelaide finish on 797,857. This is their 8th highest total and an increase of 175K from last year.
Their 4th highest overall crowd figure given the on field season they have had can't be described as disappointing. If anything its impressive.Poor home crowds combined with playing away games at backwater places. Disappointing numbers overall.
Apart from the Alice Springs match this is the lowest AFL crowd on a fine day anywhere for a very long time!4,416 at Blundstone Arena yesterday for North v Gold Coast.

Don't forget this is the elite comp in the nation and you would like to think that Hobart people would show a bit more interest.
What worries me about the Tassie team coming in is that Australian Football in general in Tasmania has gone backwards in the last 25 years on all KPIs and that the public might not be as supportive as the State Govt and AFL thinks esp if their team is down the bottom for a number of seasons after they come into the AFL!
