I'm expecting a big upswing for carlton today great weather and for some reason they are favourites still

After today I think things will be bleak though

I’m one of the few that think they’ve been ‘Better’ than win / loss and results indicate. Yes, they keep losing. However in several losses there’s argument they should possibly have won (Ess / Syd). MCG, week of reflection and Suns out of comfort zone. If their tall forwards show any improvement they win.

I don’t know the history between these two sides with crowds. My gut says anything below 20,000 would be pretty poor.

North home vs Dogs average is 32842 . Can only hope the lvl3 wings sold earlier on or something.

I feel the same. Despite the poor performances this might be the last time they are favour for a home game so a decent crowd should happen.

Why should clubs be restricted to play where the AFL wants them to play?

Surely the clubs have the right to make what ever deals suits them with stadiums directly.
Is there any other league in the world where clubs play home games that aren’t their own stadium at the requirement of the league?

If Essendon, Carlton and Hawthorn don’t want to play home games at Marvel and they are out of a contracted period then they should be able to play them at Port Melbourne if they see fit. 🤷‍♂️

We all know that the AFL like to control everything within the game even down to where teams plays
They are without doubt control freaks
