There is huge difference between top end talent talent and the draft range we will be picking this year. Yeah I know that always hear next years is better. But looking at the mids next year is a better we could snag one or two of them if we have lots of picks stacked .
Not a silly idea give the compromises that will hurt our selections this year, but I can’t see us looking to move out rather than in - we’ve shown over recent years that we like pushing as high up as quickly as possible and dealing with the next year as an unknown/later set of circumstances.

Yeah the entire system is ridiculous. Far too confusing.

Imagine being an NFL or NBA fan with how smooth and easy to understand their drafts are and looking at how we do it in the AFL. You'd give up.

The NFL salary cap is fine, no different to here really, the NBA luxury tax is a crock of shit tho, yeah.

Like that NFL and NBA contracts are public knowledge, another thibg we could learn from.

Also apparently gonna be more access to players in the upcoming CBA for the media.

Who gives a flying *. If there's any more boring people than the men's AFL players around the world in media Im yet to see them

Cant wait for more mind numbing press conferences of nothing that Ill never watch.

Aw yeah lots of learnings, heaps of positives. It's not me it's the team, we are working hard at training.
Lots of connections, I don't wanna say well win this week, I don't wanna say well lose this week.

Id just like to apologize for mentioning an opposing team, I'd like to just focus on our 4 walls

I only wanna hear Tomlinson calling Chaplin a filthy **** and losing his place in the team

Should be part of the contract that the player has to bag the opposition they are playing that week in his press conference if they want to get people to watch and some actual headlines.

Bloody hell I got an aneurysm from all those cliches.

Think North pretty keen on Sanders. If they get pick 4 off GC could look like

1. West Coast - Reid
2. GC - Walter
3. North Melb - Curtin
4. North Melb - Mckercher
5. Hawks - Duursma
6. North Melb - Sanders
7. Dees - O’Sullivan/Caddy/Watson

If Bulldogs get GC pick can swap Sanders for Watson.

Either way some decent talent at that pick.

So far the AFL have give North access to put Sanders in their academy. Let’s hope they don’t allow them to match a bid anywhere in draft. Otherwise north could end up with 4 of the top 10.

Good. We need the depth in mature talls. Not sure why so many thought this was a given tbh.
If Tmac is the depth we should just play shorter. No point in playing a bloke that far over the hill because he's over 190cm. We might as well be playing 1 down when he's out there against anyone but a bottom 2 side.

Yep. Playing someone just based on their height is completely stupid if they add nothing. Pickett out of the goal square was 50x more effective than Tmac
