Think one of the best traits for a draftee/player is versatility

In today's game, above average disposal and how they see the game unfold
That’s me Arrow. I sit in the stands, dispose of the pies and beers, and then I watch as the game unfolds.

Then they put me back in the truck and drive me back to the farm.

Prefer Windsor of those 2, don't want another 3rd tall defender unless they are elite
Schoenmaker has it all..big, strong, good leg speed, one grab, raking 60m kick lace out…player like him running and delivering the ball off half back is very damaging…can he be as impactful at afl level ?

I’m not sold that Arie Schumacher is a full time HB. Yeah that’s what the profiles say. I reckon he plays further forward myself, wing or HF. Breaks the lines with run and kick and can kick a sausage. At 21 or 27, I don’t mind him at all.

…and he copped a 10 game suspension for drinking and lying, but most importantly he sucked it up, took his licks and came back and played well. Tassie, then Allies, then Academy. He wants this.

I think his kicking is somewhat overrated, despite being a long kick.

Straight line speed is good, but has a poor turning circle

For me, he is a tweener

Not convinced Wooly

And we have two picks in the 20’s, in a weaker part of the draft and must make 2 (3?) selections each year. For what’s on offer, I’ll take him.

If I’m wrong on the how many picks we have to make I’m happy to be howled down. The bloody kelpies are at me all day anyway.

This is who Schoenmaker reminds me of. Good straight line speed but not the greatest overall athlete in terms of agility and leap etc. His weapon is and always will be is left peg which is elite

Just by watching a few video clips, hardly diffinitive, schoemakers speed/agility does look ordinary.

Makes me think of Matthew Watson who had a raking left boot that looked brilliant at u18 level but ultimately lacked the athleticism to be a defender. Fools gold.

Not sure whether his earlier 10 weeks alcohol related suspension is a bad thing (pretty poor discipline) or a good thing (a la Charlie Curnow)?

Is Arrow saying your theory doesn't knit together?
Baaaaaaa1! Don’t you have an Everest or something to swoon over. Don’t take his side (and yes I see you Ferrisb hiding in the background, behind that tin can). You can’t use logic to make these decision. You have to look at the highlights package, pretend to be an ITIK, make stuff up, throw a dart at the board, and then type a heap of garb (see) and just try and be popular. It’s ok for you people taking the P155, you don’t live in an open house with 200 others that look exactly the same and a dog runs your life.

I personally think we should take a flyer on another player, someone no-one is really talking about - but the criticism would straighten my fleece. (Wait for the Ferrisb gif everyone).

I see ewe. Articulate sheepy. I can't comment cos no research nor interest in researching this area. So thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Let's rope in some good 'uns.

I don’t agree picks 25-35 are the weaker part of the draft.
another I like that’s similar to Edwards and Windsor is Freigah…there are a number of quality picks in our range.
