This was my best mate Serge - he was 12 and died from a massive brain tumour in April.
This win was for you old mate
Vale. Hope you find another best mate.

Perhaps call him Son Of Serge?

Didn’t like Weiters not contesting leading swans players - he was good in patches but that isn’t good enough
Clearly had a role and was relying on team mates to cut off the lead, miscommunication issues with an inexperienced defense.

There’s a reason Kemp, Gov and Marchy were all playing the intercept role.

Congrats on the win. Thought it was an exciting game played in good spirits. Good luck next week
Didn't lose any respect tonight. Love the Bloods way of going about it. Huge respect.

We were nervy in patches all game. The brain fades didn’t make things easy. But how about the fact we grinded that win out under some strong pressure defensively in that last quarter, with the inexperienced group we have in finals. In much better stead now for next week to deal with such a pressure game. The experience they’ve just had is worth its weight in gold.

Last quarter heroes:

Jack M those marks
Blacres just competed and ran, with one arm
Walsh's spoil
Crippa's goal
Marchie's competing endlessly
Weiters, just him, the cool head with Saad
Voss for putting Martin behind the ball in the last.

Love this team
