Is Rory Atkins just going to spend the entire quarter on the bench while everyone else rotates around him??

It's a cold day - his job is to deliver a nice warm seat for the players coming off - very important role!

Nah I f*cked the byes. Think I'm done.

Traded out JZ and Sheez - get their roles back the next week and still score well the week Hall is in the side
Traded out Fiorini over Ratkins - one is on 43, 100% TOG and the highest scorer, and the other is on 10 with 57% TOG, and likely gets subbed
Traded in Ward, who scored well one week and the diabolical the next - over Sheldrick who scored well both weeks
I'm short a defender after Round 15 - meaning I have to play Wilmot

Is what it is.

Round 14, 15 were always going to be hard with 66% of players not playing once and of the 33% who play twice, they represent just 20% of the top 30 players. Then second guessing form and you get what you get.

Fiorini easily going to cover his BE if he keeps going the way he is, which is the part that really stings. Trading JZ and Sheez hurts the most though, but it's a lesson for next year - HOLD YOUR PREMOS, if they're not injured!

Had I held Macrae, JZ, Sheez, I likely would have had a completed team by now. Again, been too reactive this year, and then compounded by injury/suspension woes. Been the toughest year I can remember in recent memory.

Also should have just stuck with my trades and brought Doch in this week, with Cogs out. Cogs still went well, but getting the defender I need over HH, probably the smarter play.

Had a slight 'second coming' but ultimately, think my season was decided by Round 8 and was just delaying the inevitable, haha.

Gonna be a lot smarter next year - as a lot of my trade ins were decent, but going with the low risk play and high reward, seems to always net me the best results.

Yeah, form is usually worked through, injuries are just that.

Still have Macrae, Rowell has been building, Daicos enormous, Young has been mostly good, Dunkley came good - I think it's injuries that kill more than form.

WTF is rowell doing !!!
this bye has rooted my season. Stewart 66, steele 60, johnson 37. Humphrey + rowell both on 22

I feel like this is the sort of thing we would tell ourselves every year. This is the first year I've played in a long time, so I'll definitely try to remember for next year, but some high risk moves do pay off, which makes them so much more satisfying. This feels like gambling lol.

Safe to say I won't have to take Cincotta's score
I traded him as soon as he was named. Was worried he would drop in price and with Ashcroft already dropping and missing out on good rookies this week, I felt like I needed every dollar I can scrounge for next week's trades.

The funny thing is though, it really does seem to give me the best results when I do it. It's when I go the 'big dog' to get in, that it all goes to sh*t. Steele, Touk, Stewart etc. all varying levels of shitness.

Just coming from too far behind this year, IMO. Too hard to catch up, and too many risky moves when I could go the safe play (Taranto C every week is the perfect example of this). Fiorini staying in the side as the proven better scorer, while getting rid of Ratkins, was again the logical play.

Hindsight is always fun, but tbh, I can see where I went wrong this year, so I'm gonna go the conservative play as much as possible next year - to really build after the byes, rather than before them.

Won't even crack 1800 this week now given all my missteps.
