Guys, I keep deleting posts referencing this, but can we move away from suggesting or making juvenile jokes about the bloodlines of players.

This is a public forum and parents of players do read here.

Have decided to split this out from the time capsule thread.

Any news or tidbits about our 2023 FS prospects can go in here, rather than taking the time capsule thread off topic.

we need a bit of luck here - it is how the sydneys, freo's, pies have accelerated their builds....

Lets hope Will can become a top 15 talent. Good luck to Calsher too!
The $tains don't have any of their own father/sons they just pinch them from other clubs

Well all I can say is, I hope this time next year we are all wondering where the hell we are going to get enough points from to match bids for our 3 father sons inside the top 10.

If this is the case the club need to be smart with this year trade period and get some future picks on draft night.

This may have been discussed before, but how involved is Luke McCabe with the club these days? Do much with the Past Players'?

How much has Will be involved with the club to date? Must be hard from SA

Looks like young calsher is on crutches.View attachment 1506926
The upside is he looks pretty close to Nate in height. With some lucky growth spurts, we could have two F/S picks in the upper echelons of height.

Long way to go for Calsher but a good year and anything could happen. If there was a club to give him the chance, it's Sandy. McCabe is the big one though, he has all the tools and just needs to show it at the top level.

That’s Harry, the tall one. He’s 197cm, so that puts Calsher around 193cm and up just from the pics I’ve seen.

He’s a good size for a forward.

Will McCabe did a few good things, show cased his speed and contest ability, but lacked a few intercept marks, seemed a bit awed at the occasion, very lean still, i would like to see more of his forward craft, i think he was on the bench for a bit, noticed him missing a couple times for long periods, i dont remember him getting beaten in a contest, but he did kick a turn over for a shot on goal 45m out once, he isnt the polished product like Curtin who has been labelled a top 5 player for over a year already in the draft section, despite his knee injury that kept him out of most of this year, but McCabe has some great athletic potential and footy potential, so we'll wait and see how he goes next year, at this stage i have him ranked mid 20's in a strongish year for talent.

another player i liked turns out to have a Hawthorn connection is Will Lorenz (grandson of Graham Arthur) small world.
